Smooth operation, great power, great value for small projects.
Fantastic little driver board good for a wide variety of projects. I purchased this to run some testing on a Centroid Acorn CNC control card that I also purchased on Amazon. Very easy to setup and test run a little NEMA 17 stepper motor. I plan to use this for a CNC drawing/painting/laser engraving board. The power of this board was impressive and smooth operation with my setup.

Awesome driver for hefty motors
Works beautifully and let me suck highly viscous cement through a tube using a peristaltic pump by overvolting the stepper motor. My idea didn't work but this driver put in a ton and keeps on ticking.

Met spec, no surprises
Arrived on time, met spec and no surprises. Used for the moving pieces of an animatronic product display. It’s been running 24/7 for a few weeks now without issue.

Overheats and shuts off easily.
I'm driving a 4A peak NEMA 23. Just testing the motor I ran into this driver shutting the motor off. I'm not sure if the driver is picky about RPMs or something. I could feel the driver case getting warm. My motor has been driven by a digital driver with 0 issues. Supply was 24V in both cases. Motor wasn't even loaded. Also, this driver is extremely loud compared to a digital one. I'm not impressed, but for the price it's not terrible.

Stepper driver is a success for me.
Item is as described. Built like a tank for what I’m going to utilize it for.

not a genuine TB6600 chip
I have purchased two of these drivers and they work ok. BUT... The chip is NOT a TB6600 it is a Toshiba TB67S109AFTG in both of the items I bought. One clue is that the TB6600 does not microstep to 32 steps, only 16 max. I wouldn't be writing this review IF the seller was honest about the chip inside, but now I am going to look elsewhere when I need a driver. Seems like this chip is popular fake... just look at the max number for microstepping..... that will tell you IF it is a TB6600!
