Love it! Great quality to value!
Quality product! Setup really wasn't that bad. My first time putting it together took maybe 10 minutes. I put the spokes in the outer edge of the octabox first. Then attached them to the Bowens ring. It took a little strength to get the last few in, but once it's together, it feels quite solid. The scrim and outer lining attached quickly with velcro. The grid is a nice and tight fit. This is not exactly pop-up, but if you plan your shoot, setup can be easily managed. Paired with my AD200 Pro (and Godox S-type mount) and the results are great!

Pain to assemble, Great usage anyway
I knew what I was getting into when purchased this, but still - Such a pain assembling this thing - although by the 10th time I think I'm getting faster at it. Already bent one of the metal spines - yet they seem quite strong nonetheless. The rest of the construction seems quality too. From the knitting, to the velcro. Only time will tell otherwise. Fits standard Bowens mounts fine, and can rotate while mounted. The carrying bag is helpful. The inner diffuser is kind of hard to attach so you either leave it on or off. All in all, good product.

Great product, performs well BUT it's the most difficult object I've put together.
The reviews are true, this product is not friendly in the assembly department. It doesn't come with instructions so you are left with a bunch of holes and rods. I do have some tips on putting this together faster without breaking anything. Pre-req steps: see the photo of the flange, you'll be inserting your rods into [1][3] and [2] making an X. Assembly steps: 1. Work on a side first, doesn't matter which one. 2. Insert one end of the rod in the softbox corner. (see photo 1). Repeat for other rod. You'll notice i'm purposefully avoiding the middle loop here and for good reason because if you do it's nearly impossible to assembly without major effort. 3. With one end of the rods in the softbox, line up the flange and insert the rods into [1][3] and [2]. It doesn't matter which way the flange sits in this position so just make sure you are using these numbered holes. Now one side is setup. 4. Work on the other side, repeat step 2. Insert the end into the softbox first. 5. Now the tricky part, getting the other rods into the flange. My suggestion is to lightly step on the flange giving you a solid base. Then you can pull gently over the rod inserting it into the correct hole. You'll notice the other side give and bend towards you. This is normal but do not pull TOO HARD. You'll notice you can sneak the rod into the flange easier in this position. Disassembly steps: 1. With the fully setup softbox, lay it on the floor with the flange on the floor. 2. Grab a corner and push the rod down a bit while pulling the corner off. 3. Repeat for the other corner. The rest is self-explanatory. Thanks for the read, I hope the above helps.

You don't have to worry about it being bent out of shape
This is a very sturdy product but it can be hard to assemble since the rods are metal instead of plastic and it comes with no instructions. Over all I love this gaint soft box.

My second order. Well made and relatively easy to assemble
Getting the rods into the pockets at the edge of the soft box was difficult, until I used a pen with tapered end to open up the pocket. Once formed to shape with the pen, installing the rods into the pockets then went very easy. Written instructions for which pockets to use in the Bowens adapter would have helped, but I figured it out, and the soft box is fully assembled. I like the result that I get with the first one purchased, so this second one should do the same. Both will be used for an upcoming Still Life shoot

Tremendous VALUE
What’s not to like?; super value, Low price. To have speedrings, diffusion, AND a grid thrown in?- insane value! Nots: I can already tell that traveling with them would be a hassle on location- just reassembling; it’s not real fast….and which holes to use on the speed ring- despite being with multiple sets of numbers, not real clear. But I fumbled thru. I’m going to try to leave my pair assembled when traveling by car. These are MUST HAVE mods for any rim lighting work.

I would give this more but the first time I took it down after a shoot it ripped on the seem. It’s easily fixed with gaffa tape and when I contacted amazon they sent me a partial refund. Overall it’s great. It does what it says. In an ideal world you put it up and it stays up as taking it up abs down can cause it to tear The price is right though and it gets you a good spread of light

- The product came well packed. - Not easy to assemble (see tutorials at Youtube). I bought a Neewer cb60 b (bowens) as light source. I'm using it to shooting drum covers in my small studio (9 squared meters), 55% brightness, 6500k) - doing a really good job so far.

Godox is great quality as usual & the size is perfect for my need, but as usual, assembling soft boxes is not a one person job.
