Subscription Cost after 3 years - How much per year and will scanner stop working if not renewed?

Subscription will cost $34.99 per year after the initial 3 years. The scanner will work but data export will not be available.

The description says it scans passports, but I do not see that anywhere else in the description. Does it actually scan passports?

Yes, it does scan passport. The device use the laser to scan passport same as scanning driver license.

Does it automatically capture and store the image when scanning, or do you have to snap a picture in a separate step?

It does not automatically capture and store the image. You will need to snap a picture in a separate step. As of now, there is not a mobile solution that can be able to achieve this in one step.

I’m a document verifier will this scan Passports other than Us Passports?

Yes, this scanner will scan ALL world passports and also any other MRZ travel and ID documents from any country.

Bought this to cut down fake IDs and pleasantly surprised of other features such as keeping track of how many guests have entered the premises, haven’t encountered any negatives yet!

Disappointed. VeriScan keeps stopping

I am very disappointed in this product. Sometimes it seems to work, but many times it does nothing when I push the button. It "keeps stopping" a lot also. See picture. Not recommended.
