Hanwag Men's Alaska GTX Climbing Shoes

No dislikes! The designer deserves all the praise that can be given. I purchased these for work. I am a service manager for a large 5 star apartment community. You will catch coworkers, vendors and residents admiring them all day long if worn with shorts or not. You will be asked where did you get them mostly and I have never been asked how much do they cost. I think it’s because of how nice they look on my feet that people wouldn’t care I suppose. These are simply the most stylish, well designed, comfortable, and most supportive boots I have ever purchased/owned. There’s top notch toe and heel protection built in. The kicker is they are made of real leather and highly durable at the same time. Please buy a pair and treat yourself. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I give them 10 stars and more!

Top drawer boot. Great fit and comfortable right out of the box. Sizing of boots is always an issue particularly when you can't try them on. Just to help others on sizing. I wear a size 10 (US) in Adidas running shoes and the 43 (10 US) in the Hanwag fit right. I ordered the 42.5 as well for comparison and there just was not enough room in the toe in the 42.5. I hope this specific information will help others in their selection. These boots were sent to me from Germany and were shipped quickly. Reasonable price compared to other internet purchase opportunities.

These are by far one of the best pair of hiking boots that I have ever bought. They felt great on my feet right out of the box. I will be giving them the real test in a month when I go Big horn sheep hunting in a month.

Most comfortable low alpine boots I've found yet. Comfort Comfort Comfort, can't say that enough about these boots. However, because of the rubber rand lining on the outside, forces the boot to be a little narrow and half a size short compared to other boots by this brand without the rubber rand protection, so be aware when choosing your size. Ball bearing lacing is the best for getting your boots to just the right tightness for your feet. Feels great going up and going down. Something about the way Hanwag does the inside of their boots, makes them the most comfortable boot my foot has ever set foot in. Great support for kicking out steps and heel stepping down hill. Waterproof.

They make noise when you walk. Not quiet.. not for hunting. Loud squeaky

I have a narrow foot and depending on the boot, a size 9 1/2 or 10D has always worked for me. I have size 9 1/2US Meindl's, and size 10US Danner and Lowa. I was really hoping to love this boot. You will not find a higher quality made boot. Mine were tagged made in Germany. After a lot of research and conflicting size information, I ordered the 9.5UK. You can read the Q&A on this boot and see some of the conflicting size recommendations. When my boots arrived, there is a tag inside the boot that says size 9.5UK, 10.5US. I was not expecting this and I have never worn a size 10.5US in my life. I typically wear a light weight liner sock and the boot was loose in the heal when wearing this sock. The boot fit better with a medium weight sock. The toe box is a little narrow which I find odd for a boot like this. I am returning this product due to the odd sizing and fit. I may at a later date try a size 10US but based on the boot I received, I am almost certain it would be too tight in the toe box. If the boot fits you, it is an awesome boot as others have already commented.

Very cool , convenient boots , the best for hiking or cold snowing winter. Germany quality are the best . Probably the best shoes on the market. Recommend this seller .

The Boots are real nice but they are not Warm in the cold.
