Crummy product, lid doesn’t stay open, can’t close if you have an ongoing game. Pawns and bishops hard to tell apart. Magnets not very strong to hold in place. Disappointed in the product.

The black queen in my set must have been missing becuase someone cut the crown off a black king and tried to pass him off as a queen. Doesn't match at all. Not a big deal but it probably says a lot about how this company does business. I wouldn't purchase if I was you.

This is a really cute idea and definitely would make a good gift for a beginner chess player or even just a random stocking stuffer type thing. However, in some of the pieces the magnets are not level so the already little pieces that barely fit the squares tilt and are harder to pick up. You can't close the case to pause a game but have to keep the game open if you're moving locations. Then there's an increased risk of your game getting knocked and pieces either moving on the board or completely falling off! Almost lost the bishop this way. IF the case could close around a game in progress and the magnets were level it would be perfect. This was kind of a disappointing purchase but still a cute idea.

I am always going to be comparing travel sets to the ones that came from Drueke that had either a box or plastic shell for the board and high quality pieces that could stay in position while closed up and traveling.I purchase travel sets as gifts for my students. This model is a little small for my taste, but you can close it for travel and have the position ready when you open the case up.The pieces are pretty good and the magnets hold up well.I am just spoiled with the Dreuke magnetic travel sets...

I think it was the quality I wanted but came in a box with other large and heavy items. One side was nearly smashed flat. I did get all the pieces. Managed to unbend it enough to make it work. Definitely not worth the money. Would have been if it had come in its own secure package or at least a box I could return it in. Oh well.

It served my purpose of having a small portable set at a low price.

The magnetic strip of the pieces could be stronger.

J'ai acheté cet échiquier magnétique pour que les enfants puissent jouer pendant les trajets en voiture. L'adhérence des pièces magnétiques est très correcte et celles ci se rangent aisément dans le boîtier. Les dimensions sont idéales. Et les coloris argent et or plaisent beaucoup !
