Large Kirribilli Cast Iron Table Base

This table base was bought to support a solid surface Corian table top weighing around 50 pounds. The dimensions of the table are 36" x 30". The base bought does indeed support it and the leveling system under it works as stated.The biggest problem is the proper tightening up of the nuts that keep the base's cast iron cross/X shaped footing together with the round support post and upper table cast iron support that is screwed into the table top.No tools are included to tighten up the long screw bolt which holds the base together. However, you are given a small allen wrench to attach the base's stabilizing system that screws into the bottom of the cast iron footing.Just make sure you have a socket wrench to properly tighten the bolt nuts in order not to have a shaky table top.
