These are of excellent quality and good value for money. Supermarkets tend to sell Cinnamon Sticks in small quantities at a high price, so buying them like this is a no-brainer unless it's an emergency!

They look like nice big whole cinnamon sticks but unfortunately smell & taste nothing like cinnamon - more like moth balls. They might be ok for craft work but I would not recommend them for cooking or mulled wine.

These are noticeably more aromatic than the generic supermarket sticks, which matters whether you're simmering a mulled drink, dropping one into a rice cooker, or using them decoratively where the scent is actually part of the point. At 3+ inches they're a solid working length — long enough to stir with, substantial enough to hold up in hot liquid without disintegrating. For baking they grind down well if you use a spice grinder, though Saigon cassia's higher coumarin content is worth keeping in mind if you're consuming it in large amounts regularly. For occasional cooking and beverages, it's a non-issue. The sticks themselves are tightly rolled and dry, no soft or crumbly duds in the batch. Rani's been around for 40 years sourcing Indian and Southeast Asian spices, so the supply chain here isn't a mystery. Kosher certified, which is useful if that matters to your kitchen. These were a hit at a coffee, tea and cookie event. Many utilize these for coffee and tea they present well on the table gives out a great smell of cinnamon flavor was fantastic and plenty of shelflife where we can store and use at a later date
