Baqua Spa 88855 Stain & Scale Control Spa Sanitizer, Clear

Over time, I have developed a sensitivity to both chlorine and bromine. After hot tubing, ever showering afterwords I would start itching. The itching became so severe that I would bleed from scratching. I though I would have to give up on the hot tub for good. After doing some research I came across these Baqua products. The one I am writing about here is the Sanitizer. This is a direct replacement of Chlorine or Bromine. It takes very little, just a few teaspoons per week. It works perfectly. The best part is NO ITCHING! I have been using it for about a month with no itching. I use this in combination with the Baqua Oxidizer Spa and Hot Tub Clarifier, and the water has been crystal clear. It is actually the clearest it's ever been. I use both these products in combination with Spa Marvel, a wonderful water conditioner which is perfectly compatible with the Baqua products. I checked. All these products are completely chlorine and bromine free. If you have an issue with itching, I HIGHLY recommend this.

I've been using this in our hot tub for many years now, and was happy to find it on amazon for a much lower price than I had previously been paying. Easy to use and easy to store.

Ok...not lying...this stuff is the best! Do you know the term, “ set it and forget it?” Well this is about as close as I have ever gotten with spa chemistry. After I get the PH adjusted...I add 5oz #1, 10oz #2, and 3.5oz #3 (for 500gal spa) at startup. I change the water 90 days and test chemistry (Baqua Spa Test strips) weekly. I adjust the PH once every two weeks...other than that...SQUAT! No adding chlorine or other chemicals and my trunks, hair, skin feels soft and no chlorine smell! My wife and I have used the spa at least 5 nights a week since February and it literally couldn’t be much easier. I highly recommend!!!

Great sanitizer for my hottub. Baqua Spa works great keeping that smell out of your hottub. Will buy again

We only use Baqa products in our hottub. We have been using them since 2003 when we purchased our tub and they do a great job.

Best spa chemicals ever made. I have respiratory problems and cannot be in a spa that has any other chemicals in it except these. These don't bother me at all. No drying of the skin no itching and no respiratory problems and no smell. And it doesn't ruin your clothes. Perfect product!!

I've used BaquaSpa products ever since buying a Hotsprings tub in 2002. I find the products far superior to chlorine or bromine. There is a fizzyness/aroma factor but that is resolved with spa scents.

I have used the Baqua Spa chemicals for the 10 years I have owned my spa. Product works well. Tried knock off brand once, and was NOT happy. The Baqua Spa chemicals have not let me down. Recommend them.
