Forward CR60A 6.5 Inch Bench Vise Heavy Duty Vice with Anvil and 210 Degrees Swivel Base (6 1/2")

Very good, medium-duty vice, for homeowners.

The vise is very well made, the sliding jaw has very little side to side movement and the jaws meet squarely, the slide has machined surfaces and fits well. The swivel base locks down well and works smoothly, I am happy with it so far.

Though I didn't know about the brand, i see good amazon reviews and more importantly this brand performed quite well in project farm testing, which I really trust(though that was for the cast iron variant of this brand). I am mostly into woodworking and occasionally need to do some metalwork, so I installed this in a portable jig I made to clamp it in my existing woodworking vise. Maybe I will have space and need some day to permanently install it and bring it to its full potential. This vise seems to be nice balance of quality vs cost.

Robust so far! Purchased this unit after researching for hours. I finally settled on this Forward brand as it had the features I wanted/needed, had good reviews, and wasn’t priced out of this world. I received my unit well packaged with zero damage. The next day I installed onto my welding table and began working with it. I was VERY impressed with how well the clamp jaws mesh together, and how little back lash there was with the unit. Very tight and smooth operation. Measurements are true to what’s advertised. So, far I have really enjoyed having this to work with. I will also say I have not beaten on this thing yet and may never, but it certainly looks and feels like it could take some abuse. I would purchase again for sure!

It seems okay. Jaws hold what I need them too. I have it mounted to my service bed, it rusted pretty fast and jaws seem to get stuck, but still works just need to keep lubed

Can’t believe I have gone so long without having one of these in my workshop. My daughter heard me complaining and then the next thing I know she got me one. I have used this bench vise a lot, and the quality seems to be very good. Highly recommend. Happy Dad. 😃

It`s a great heavy duty Bench Vise! I`m happy with it . Much better than "Mastercraft" that I got from (Canadian TIre)(and already braked )
