Does the wheel allow you to scroll left and right?

The wheel does not move right and left but you move the mouse in the direction you desire and the curser follows.

Can you turn off this mouse?

No, not with an on/off switch. It does shut itself off after so long of non-use. You have to left click it to wake it up.

Is it effortless click? I have serious index finger pain.

It takes very little pressure to make the click but I use my index finger on the wheel and middle finger for the left click.

How do you contact the seller for the warranty? My mouse stopped working after 10 weeks.

I purchased this mouse and it worked only for one month. It wasn't responding and was moving on it's own. It would go to to the right top left of the screen and float down and then to the left of the screen every time. I went to the company Seeda and asked for help since it is stated a life time warranty. The company is not responsive to queries. I asked Amazon for help and they allowed me to return it.
