I gave them my model and serial number and my refrigerator is one of the affected ones. They sent a local technician out to replace the filter housing and now these filters fit perfectly. It took a couple weeks for the part to come in and the technician to install it but it's worth the trouble. Frigidaire said they would make the replacement through November 2017.

Great price on the refrigerator water filters. We did not realize but with the clogged filters the water is slower to run and it affects the ability of the ice maker to work. A clogged filter does not allow the icemaker to work properly or at all. It will put water in the trays slow but when they try to dump the ice they get clogged up. Always use a clean filter. Watch the stream and as it starts slowing down your ice maker will start messing up. Again great price and product in the filters at about a 1/4 of the price. This price allows you to change them when you are suppose to.

Leaking seals resulting in leaking dispenser.
Item looks very similar to OEM part, however, once installed there was a constant drip of water coming from the water dispenser. Out of the 6 pack we tried, the first had a nick and slightly damaged seal, so I thought that may have been the cause. After trying a second, seemingly fine filter, the same issue of a leaking dispenser continued. Additionally, each time the filter was removed, a significant amount of water was left in the filter housing of the fridge. I purchased an OEM filter, and it fit perfectly, no leaking dispenser. You get what you pay for sometimes, and in this case, it didn't work out - we'll be sticking with the OEM filters.

Finally a filter I can afford. The filters appear to work just as good as them expensive OEM filter sellers. I am sure most of us know what it is like to reset the change filter light because we don't have a new very expensive filter waiting to replace the old filter. Well this is the answer to keeping filter replacement affordable. Now I no longer feel like I am paying bottled water prices to have filtered drinking water in my home.
