used bi-weekly to keep gnats out of the soil of our houseplants. seems to work well and doesn't have any harsh chemical ordor.

PROS: Really does prevent mosquito larvae. The granules are much easier to use than the larger dunks for small containers, such as bird baths. Doesn’t harm critters. MUCH better to use to control mosquitoes than toxic yard sprays! CONS: none

if used regularly it does get rid[d of fungus knats

I live in a woody area and have mosquitoes so this product work well and not harmful to other animals. For standing water area I either use this or the dunks for water trough. It work!!!

This stuff does work on larva but I did not receive the dunks. I would have ordered from another seller and a bigger bag for this price

I use these in small mesh bags in my pond and they just work. No mosquitos. Another use I recently discovered is to put a thin layer on the top of the soil for houseplants. This helps control fungus gnats. The product title says it's 6 dunks. These are not dunks, they are the granular bits that would make up dunks. You can just pour or scoop out the amount you need. 30 ounces goes a long way!

If you have a garden or indoor plants, this is a must-have! Been using this for over three years. I use it outside for outdoor plants to prevent mosquitos. You’ll notice the product work within a couple days. Before this product, I would use mosquito repellent candles outside but they didn't do much for me. I simply sprinkle this on the soil and the bits will start working everytime you water your plants. For indoor plants, I use this product to prevent fungus gnats. I soak the bits in hot water, usually overnight before watering my plants. This is also helpful to dissolve any chemicals in the water. I don't like to directly sprinkle the bits in my indoor plants soil because it will stain all the pearlite to a brownish color. Some people say it’s fungus, but it’s not. It’s simply the pearlite being stained. Personally I dont like that look in my indoor plant soil, but if you dont mind it, then simply sprinkle the bits directly rather than soaking in water. bought it because of fungus gnat infestation in my calatheas, after my first use its like there are suddenly no more bugs! works super fast, great stuff especially when paired with yellow sticky traps. seems to be the only thing that has worked for those pesky gnats

This combined with absolutely overdoing the sticky traps has reduced the gnat problem in my indoor plants to just the last few stragglers - recommend to water them once a week with the Mosquito bits, and keep the sticky traps out for a few weeks to catch stragglers.

Watered plants with this once a week, for 3 weeks, as per instructions. Still had gnats flying around after 1 week. Gnats much reduced after 2 weeks. After 3rd treatment, zero gnats in my house. Great stuff.
