noxgear Tracer2 Multicolor Light Up and Reflective Running Vest | Rechargeable, Ultra-bright Running Lights for Runners

I am gushing about, and showing off, the Tracer360 to my riding buddies, friends and co-workers. This product is absolutely amazing. Their customer service is equally amazing. Cycling is my passion and something I greatly enjoy doing. Days are getting shorter and I don't get out of work early enough to finish my rides before nightfall. This product is the final piece to my night safety gear. I went on a group ride with it recently and one of the guys I ride with has already said that he is getting one. Everyone else who has seen it thinks that it is fantastic. I've had cars slow down as they pass me while I'm out riding to get a better look and one car passenger yelled out her window, "I LOVE your lights!" I am recommending it to every person I know who either cycles or jogs past sundown. This is the best product I've ever purchased for my cycling safety (and I've purchased a lot). I have absolutely NO regrets about my purchase (sometimes eyebrows go up when I mention the price, but it is definitely worth every penny). It is exactly what I've been looking for to enhance my visibility when I ride after sundown. I hope Noxgear is in business a good long time because when this one breaks, if the warranty has expired, I'm going to need to purchase another. I would make one suggestion (and I did when I contacted them). I require their product so that I can stay active as the days get shorter, so I don't mind having to buy batteries when it requires, but some people have mentioned that they don't like the idea of the added cost. I recommend that they consider making it rechargeable either via USB or provide an AC charger. (And that was my two cents.) On top of the incredible piece of safety equipment they've manufactured and the fact that they've made safety cool, their customer service is truly customer-centric. I originally ordered a Large/Medium, but it turned out to be too large and the light tubes hung too low and too loose. I contacted Noxgear from the "Contact the seller" button, explained my predicament and requested to exchange my Large/Medium for a Small. The answer was "yes", no questions asked. Now THAT is Customer Service. All the best to Noxgear.

To sum it up. I will be buying more of these if I ever have to and will be running with this for the rest of my life 5 stars! I find reviews to be really helpful when they are listed in a pros and cons list so here we go. Pros 1. Literally life saving. On my third run I was almost run over by a distracted driver. Which has never happened to me on a run before. I was shocked when it happened and they even stopped and apologized and said she reacted right away because of how bright this is. 2. Traffic immediately starts to behave differently when I run with this on. I can see almost every car drive around me as if there was a bubble like we are supposed to do with bikes. It's amazing. 3. Incredibly light and comfortable. I don't notice it all when running. 4. Great battery life and weather resistant. I have run with it while it's drizzling and had no issue. I can charge it once and it will last me about a week and half with 30 minute runs everyday. 5. Great accessory. The additional light you can purchase with it works incredibly well. Highly recommend that. Cons. 1. The price. YIKES. However, very worth it for the safety that it provides, literally already saved me once. Plus the build quality is noticeable good. So that makes up for it. 2. Pay attention to sizing and check out the sizing chart. I wish this was more inclusive to bigger bodies. There are plenty of curvy runners out there that could use this. Not to mention all the road workers and night shift workers that could benefit from this in a larger size. For reference I wear a size small in Old Navy shirts and according to their sizing chart I use a M/L.

Review after using for over 1000 running miles, over all season. As an avid runner with a family and full-time job, 90% of my running miles happen in the dark, before sunrise. While it’s relatively quiet at that time of day, over the years I have had several close calls with drivers not stopping at intersection. Over the years, I’ve tried several different methods to increase my visibility, including headlamps, reflective strips, and other visibility devices. Overall they were ineffective or uncomfortable. This device solved the problem - it is comfortable (in both cold conditions over multiple layers, and it hot humid conditions). And it’s bright, undoubtedly making me visible to driver. Early feelings of being self conscious wearing it soon went away, and I see drivers slow down as they approach, even though I’m on the sidewalk! Battery life is great, and it has plenty of adjustment options for fit. “See and be seen”: This will not help you ‘see’ in truly dark conditions, but adds a small amount of light to already acceptable suburban lighting. However, this device 100% solves the ‘be seen’ challenge. There are a few too many options for different light patterns for my liking, only really becoming an issue when I inadvertently switch away from my preferred setting, requiring me to the cycle through all the options to try to find ‘my’ one again. But this is a minor complaint. Overall - problem solved, and I wear this for every dark run.

I have been considering getting one of these for awhile. There is a local running group that I often drive by in the evenings. They all wear these, and I can see them coming from much further away than if they were just wearing a reflective vest. They are super visible. When I started doing 5am runs with some friends, I decided to buy one. I like being so visible to traffic, and it is so lightweight that I don’t even notice I am wearing it. I find it more comfortable than my reflective vest which I am constantly trying to twist back into place. I can make the Tracer fit snugly and it doesn’t move or bounce. I like the multiple color and flashing mode options. It’s exactly what I was hoping for, and so far I have done at least 5 hours of running in it and the battery is still fine. I love that it has a safety feature where it will flash only red when the battery is getting low. It would be dangerous to go out for a run in the dark and have your safety vest fail. My headlamp might die, but at least I know my vest will work!

It’s phenomenal. Definitely get the attachable light. The reason this is better than the competition is because it never dims it just tells you when it’s low on batteries and then shuts itself off so there is never any loss of visibility with us. The attachable light is the same way it maintains a static brightness that turns off when it’s out of batteries without getting dimmer. The quality of the item is excellent. It uses USB-C, and my only criticism is that a little black plastic clip on the back of the harness that holds the fiber optic cables together for ergonomics loses its ability to keep the cables together. But that’s nothing that could not easily be fixed with a piece of string or something like that. Oh and definitely get the light hound as well. That also never dims overtime. It just runs the battery down and turns off so you get consistent visibility throughout the entire charge. If you’re on the edge about getting us done be just got it. You’ll love it. They also have extra harness pieces that are reflective that go over your shoulders along with the fiber optic cables that I’m thinking about getting, it’s the same piece of fabric that goes around your waist just on your shoulders. You definitely get what you pay for it. It’s not some cheap piece of shit.

I've been riding long night rides for more than 20 years now and I've lost too many friends to drunk , distracted, and simply careless drivers. High night visibility is very important to me. I have two very bright rear lights and very bright front lights too. But I'm not highly visible from the side and even the reflective Sam Brown belt I wear is not great from the side. That's where this vest is almost unique. I first wore this on a 600k brevet that starts in the dark and finishes in the dark 40 hours later. There's a lot of night riding on a ride like that. My first impression is that this vest very light. You really don't know it's there except that you can see the flashing reflected off your handlebars (not in an annoying way). You are highly visible from 360 degrees and especially from behind because the entire battery pack lights up too. In fact, you're so bright that no one will want to draft off of you. Fortunately it's easy to turn on and off while you're riding. As I recall there are 6 different colors and several flash patterns - some of which are very eye-grabbing. One very nice feature is that when you turn it on and off it flashes three times in one of three different colors depending on your battery strength. It takes three AAA batteries that are easy to replace in the dark. One reviewer suggested a rechargeable Li-Ion battery would be a good idea and I agree, but only if the battery lasted at least 24 hours. I don't know what the battery life of the AAA batteries are but they've lasted over 20 hours so far. If the batteries do die on you, you still have the reflective belt. If you look carefully at the product image you can see two small black dots under the front of the belt. These are adjustable stops that slide along the illuminated plastic tubes and effectively allow you to size the vest to your torso. It's a good idea but I notice that they leave little indents in the tubes. This, and the fact that the tubes are very narrow, makes me think they are fragile and I think it would be very easy to break the vest if they catch on something as you pick it up, put it on, or take it off. That's why I took a star off. Some people think that $60 is too much. Take a look at a Pearl Izumi reflective cycling vest. They start at ~$50. It's true the vest will keep you warmer too, but that might not be a good thing on a warm night. Would I recommend this to a friend? Absolutely. I have some dead friends who might still be alive if they'd been wearing this vest. But with drunk drivers it's hard to know. RIP Jim and Rod.

This product was designed for cycling as the bulk of the emitted light originates from the maim control unit. The instructions detail the proper way to wear the unit with the control unit worn on one's back. This s where you charge the unit as well as select different light colors and flashing patterns. I knew this before purchasing but I have reversed similar safety lights and have effectively worn them that way. This way you can turn in off and on, change the pattern and most importantly have the majority of light on your front which is an important safety issue for runners who run against traffic. This unit can easily be worn reverse of the directions for this unit. Runners need minimal light on there backs. I am very happy with the unit. The ligh is sufficient and the color selection is vast. I also like the fact that there is some light on the rear while wearing the unit reversed and one of the best features for me is the minimal use of fabric materials as runners know that sweat, time after time, will degrade the fabric materials and the eventual buildup of mold/mildew will be an issue. This is by far the best option that I have used and would highly recommend this product.

I am an avid runner/amateur triathlete who qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships this year. I typically run in daylight hours, however due to my 2020-2021 work schedule, my new run time is in the 1600-1800 range. In the PNW, our winters get DARK by 1630. In order to keep up my off season training for HOPEFULLY a 2021 Ironman/Triathlon season, I decided it was time to buy some lights and extend my runs into the darkness. This doodad is AMAZING! NO bounce when walking, running, sprinting, standing still? Nada! Not noticeable whatsoever other than the fact that it's bright, beautiful, and colorful! I did my favorite 6.5 mile lake loop this evening and watched every passing car give me plenty of room. I also enjoyed looking across the water at Christmas lights while seeing my own color reflection bounce of the lake below. I run with a sports top that holds my cellphone between my shoulder blades. The battery pack on the back of this touches my cell when placed up high. I thought this was going to be an issue, however after adjusting the battery pack a little lower and tightening the straps, this baby did not move. It stayed put and didn't interfere with my cell. I DEFINITELY recommend this for anyone who is running into the twilight/night hours. The lake loop I ran this evening has hardly any street lights (more "country" residential), but I felt just as safe as when I do in the day time. Thanks, NOXGEAR! I can now extend my outdoor running into the later hours of the evening!

This vest is honestly so much fun to use! Been eyeing it for ages but didn't want to get it because it is pretty expensive, but decided why not?! It's got so many different light settings, you can have all the colours flashing in sequence (red, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink!) Basically, your own mini light show to-go. You can also set it to a single colour if a moving disco party isn't your thing. The lights are also super bright and really increase your visibility to drivers at night. I got the small and it fits perfectly (162cm, 55kg, small frame). The straps don't move around, flap or shift while you run. The light pack on the back is securely attached to the belt and doesn't bounce around at all (one of my concerns at first). The pack also sits low enough on my back that my hair doesn't block it! (I have long hair...it gets in the way of most things...) The vest fits snug and not at all too tight, easily adjustable, doesn't dig in or chafe anywhere (not sure if the tubing will stick a bit to bare skin if you're in a tank top though). It also uses and comes ready with 3 AAA batteries which is awesome because those little disc batteries are just annoying and finicky to switch out. The whole thing is well made, no rough edges, super light yet sturdy feeling, no funky cheap plastic smells. The only downside would be that the on/off switch is on the back on the pack, so if you've already got it on, you need to do a little twisting and searching to get at the button. Not a big problem and not hard to get at, but it would be nice if the controls were on the front so you could switch through light patterns a little more easily while you've got the vest on and while you're moving. Overall, would highly recommend for runners!

Ich möchte diese Leuchtweste allen ans Herz legen, die bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen draußen unterwegs sind, ohne einen Blechkäfig namens Auto um sich zu haben... Es ist sehr angenehm zu tragen und fällt wirklich unglaublich gut auf! KEINER hat mehr eine Entschuldigung, einen nicht gesehen zu haben. Ich fühle mich viel sicherer und die anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer nehmen einen ernst. Es ist außerdem super verstellbar und passt sogar bequem über einen Rucksack und stört auch nicht beim Laufen. Sollte jeder haben!

très bon produit testé sur des routes de campagne où la visibilité est mauvaise, idéale pour des entrainements nocturnes, utilisé en complément d'une lampe frontale ,très sécuritaire.

Lo recomiendo cuando estas en ciudad por que te ven venir los coches tanto en bici como de runner, eso si.. tienes que estar preparado por que vas a llamar mucho la atención, quiza demasiado caro para lo que es.
