Quality product. Works as stated. Makes using a hose so easy and retracts nicely, however, you shouldn't retract and let go of hose because it can whip around and hit someone or something! We bought two! Worth the money. Had them over two years now and not one problem.

I'm new to this type of product and I don't know why I waited so long to buy one. After years of struggling with laying out hoses, maneuvering around obstacles, and hauling them around I finally found the easy solution. This Sunnaday hose reel is designed and built well. It's a shortcoming of other models that you cannot access the reel to replace the hose and realign it on the reel if need be. The access door offers plenty of room for maintenance. The housing is sturdy as is the mount. The mounting plate is easy to install and I suggest using the supplied screw wall plugs instead of just drilling and fastening into the siding or even framing. The screw will not loosen over time. The reel action is smooth and powerful enough to walk the hose back on the reel and I had no issue with the hose binding or not laying evenly on the reel. The hose quality is on par with the best, it may kink but you have to work at it to make it do so. The 5/8" hose allows sufficient flow to provide good pressure to a pressure washer and reach far beyond the 100' provided. The brass fittings are common to standard threaded hose bibs and nozzles. I can't attest to durability since I've only owned it a short time but I'll check back in at the end of the season to offer my opinion on that. I contacted the company for a spare part and received it in a couple of days, which in my book is excellent service. I'm confident it will serve my irrigation needs. I recommend this product, you won't be disappointed.

The 100ft Automatic Retractable Hose Reel was Mounted on an Aluminum Post in 2022, and the Reel has Not Failed to Retract Nor Leak, and Continues Operated Smoothly. Very Please with this Product.

This is a terrific hose & reel. If you want a long, sturdy hose that conveniently rolls up, this is excellent. It's my second one. The first one has lasted for years and still going. I am convinced that these self-contained reels extend hose life because one is more likely to reel it in since it's so easy which saves hoses from mishaps of just keeping them laying around. The install requires nuts and bolts which makes it a very sturdy set up but I wish it was a sturdy slip on in spring and slip off in fall for easy install and storage during winter. I've bought that style in the past but the hoses are shorter and don't seem to last as long as this one. Highly recommend.

Cheap? No. Convenient? Most definitely. This hose reel doesn’t feel particularly robust. The plastic cover feels thin and not what I expected for the high price. The included hose nozzle is disposable. I replaced it with a nice cast metal version from Sam’s Club. I love using this reel despite my disappointment with the overall cheap feel. Why? Because the retract on this reel is perfect. It works every time without fail and doesn’t try to yank the hose out of your hands. I’ve only owned it a few months so durability is unknown. Be careful mounting it as the case scratches easily when set down on cement or brick. Set it on some cardboard or other buffer to prevent scratching the sides or bottom. I eventually mounted this reel outside and it works perfectly. Not sure I’d carry it around with the handle since the handle is a bit flimsy and the hose attaches to the bottom where it will get smashed/kinked when set on a flat surface. It is also very heavy, especially after you run water through it! Mount it up on a wall for optimum operation. The hose seems decent quality and doesn’t link up unless bent hard. Overall this reel functions great. I’m just not completely convinced it’s a good value.

Although this was one of the highest rated reels on Amazon I was still a bit concerned about how strong it would be. It is obviously mostly plastic, but it feels rugged. The pivoting wall mount is steel and attaches firmly to the wall anchor base. The hose ratchet that rewinds the hose pulls out firm but freely. The return winding is controlled and steady. I was VERY pleased that the fairlead actually moves back and fourth, so the hose retracts evenly across the reel. It does start to overlap near the very end of the hose, but opening the top access door fixes that with ease. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

No option for ZERO STARS! I installed this about 7-months ago and honestly i have only used it maybe 4-times. Today, I pulled it out to connect my pressure washer to it. About 10 minutes into the use of the device the hose reel exploded off of the post where it was mounted. Upon investigating the problem I discovered that the two sides of the reel housing has separated, and the entire unit just fell apart. This item is, in my opinion, AN ABSOLUTE PIECE OF JUNK! Especially for $200. This seems like something from TEMU. BUYER BEWARE, do not buy this piece of junk. It's obviously too late to return, so I guess I'll just have to throw it in the trash. I am not a happy camper....

Good product, works well. Fantastic customer support. I bought this in March and in July the piece that guides the hose to roll up properly failed by slipping out of place. I contacted the company to see if they could tell me how to put it back and to my surprise they just sent me another one. I’m really impressed by their willingness to stand by the product,

The most important part was missing from the box. The mounting bracket. Shows it in the instructions and parts list. Couldn’t hang it. Sent it back.

Hose reel works as described but arrived with missing parts, wall mounting bracket, wall screws, washers, and anchors are not in box.
