Can I use this phone with my Verizon account?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can, but you may have to go into the phone and enable the cellular data option. Mine was disabled right out of the box, I took it in to a Verizon store and the guy made it work. Verizon does not list it as a supported phone, but if you already have an active Verizon sim, it should work.

Can you display the small screen on a large screen like a tv using usb c to a hdmi adapter cable?

No but if you get a chrome cast or a smart tv you can cast YouTube and other media services

So this phone allows for 2 sim cards from different carriers? How does it know which one to use?

You can select which SIM card to use by default for Cellular Data, Voice, and Text.  For the Cellular Data one, you set it and don't really change it unless you wanted to.  For Voice, I have mine set to prompt me every time I make a call.  I tried that with Text, but with the Google Messages app, it would throw an error stating no default SIM selected.  I selected one as the default and from there, any time I create a new message OR reply to an existing thread, there's a button to allow you to switch between the two different SIM cards.

It defaults to SIM1 & SIM2, but I renamed them to "AT&T" and "T-Mobile", and even color coded them to Blue & Pink, respectively.  During normal operation, the phone is connected to both networks to send & receive calls or texts at any given time, but you'll notice only one will show the "4G" logo to indicate mobile data for that SIM card in the status bar.  The other will show signal strength, but with an "X", indicating it's not connected to cellular/mobile data.

When the phone rings, the call screen is color coded to match the SIM cards since I customized them, so it's easy to determine which SIM card is receiving the call.  When making a call, it prompts me which one to use, along with the names & color codes.

When receiving text messages, it will say "via AT&T" or "via T-Mobile" below the text itself in the Message app to indicate the SIM card receiving the text.  The Messages app will even say "Text message from " and then the SIM card you've selected to text from, and also displays a color-coded SIM card icon with the SIM card number inside the icon (1 or 2).  Tapping that icon brings up the menu to choose which SIM card to send from, which, again, is color coded & has the labels I chose.

I haven't yet found an easy way to toggle the cellular/mobile data between the SIM cards, aside from just going to settings and telling it to switch.

Overall, I'm really happy with how well it handles the different SIM cards, and switching between the two for Voice & Texts is very intuitive.

Will this phone do voice to text?

Yes.  With the google gboard, there's a mic button you can tap to activate voice to text. You can also use the Google Assistant app for texting, or Android Auto for hands-free driving.
