My cats love it and the price can't be beat!
This is saving at least some of furniture and cabinets. It is a great product and my cats have a great time with it. It is very stable and heavy enough in its exterior material to take a beating over time - I'm really curious how ling this will last. I've had it for four months now and it doesn't even look like it's giving out at all! It was easy to put together and is very inconspicuous sitting at the side of the room by the kitchen counter (as spot where one cat was really going to town on our cabinets and now this is their favored target). A very good scratching post! Two cats working at it daily and nary a dent in it as of yet - very solidly built.

Tall and sturdy.
Tall and sturdy. My cats love it. Doesn’t fall over great quality. Shows very little sign of wear after a few months. This is a keeper and I will buy another. Cats love to perch on it too! Well worth the money.

Great size and my cat loves it.
Got this to try and get my cat to stop scratching the carpet. It worked great. The height is perfect its not unstable and the bottom felt is soft my cat even likes laying on the base. It was very easy to assemble took maybe 5 minutes to put together.

Good overall quality but
This is an overall a good quality scratching post. Seems very sturdily built with heavy bolts. The only problem is the threaded inserts to attach the base are off center and it was difficult to try to get the bolts in the product. The only problem is the threaded inserts to attach the base are off center and it was difficult to try to get the bolts in the product. I could get two in the other two were difficult I struggled for about 10 minutes on the third one the fourth one I just couldn’t get to line up with the other three in. I’m a handyman used to be in construction so it’s not user error. It’s definitely how they placed those inserts so other than that works great.

Great Cat Scratcher
This an excellent value for cats who like to scratch--obviously most do. We have several indoor cats and have several larger cat scratchers which they do like. This smaller and less expensive unit is great for kittens--the original reason we bought it--but also smaller cats. They last a long time but that of course depends upon the usage but it is a quality item and easy to put together plus at a great price.

Warning: May turn your cat into Batman
Stop buying those flimsy weak cat trees. Invest in one of these thick sturdy ones. My cats love to scratch on everything unfortunately and they’d torn apart their old scratching tower. We bought this one to replace it and my cats love it. One of my cats likes to stretch out and scratch and this has plenty of height for him. He also likes to sit on the soft square part on top and watch over everything outside the window like he’s Batman. It’s thick and sturdy and it still looks brand new. Worth every penny and was super easy to put together.

Henry totally approves this
I have a Maine Coon that just loves to show off his handsome looks by modeling on top for this pic. This is my second scratching post like this and I love how the last one lasted two years and Henry and my other cats are still shredding the post daily, or at least until my new one comes in this Thursday. Amazon makes a really good solid post that does not tip over. The carpeted base gives them the traction they need for vigorous 'workouts'. This is not one of those post with the siscal going around and around, causing nails to come off before they were meant to and me finding their little bloody paw prints. So that one went into the trash immediately, and I went back to what I know works best for my cats. Most of my cats are large, except for one, and this post takes a daily beating. The only thing that would make this post better is if it had 4 more feet of height, since Henry loves to climb on it and just hang there, real chill. I highly recommend this particular post because it has the fiber mat that wraps around it, not causing damage to their paws. No rope going around on this post. This post is Henry approved. Can't get a more solid reaction then that. Henry is quite stubborn about what he likes and does not like. Actually Henry is just stubborn, but so is this post. It just keeps on keeping on. Edit; I got the scratching post and my cats just love it. The only thing that can make this post better is getting a seat for Henry to sit in, since he loves climbing on top. This post is just as awesome as the first one was. I am very pleased with howuch my cats love it and the fact it never tips over which is saying a lot when the cats are rambunctious and there are three on it trying to get to the top first. I still say if this post were 4 feet taller, my cats could climb a bit before reaching the top platform. I really have to get a seat for it. Maybe then two could be on top at the same time. Give this post a try if you have large cats, you won't be sorry and your cats will indeed love it. Amazon makes a great product!

Bigger Than I thought and Saving my Curtains!
I own three cats, one of which (1.5 year only Maine Coon) has always taken a liking to our bedroom curtains. I needed something large and wide to help him get his urge to stretch and scratch out. This turned out perfect! I was looking for something tall and wide, and this turned out larger than I thought! It's sturdy enough for my 12lb hour cats to climb and sit on top of, and has stood up to our larger cat playing with and scratching. The set up was slightly annoying when attaching the base to the trunk of the scratcher, but nothing one person can't handle. Took me about 30minutes altogether to build it solo. The picture instructions were easy enough to follow, and it even comes with a wall attachment for extra stability if you need it. My boys took to it immediately, and love playing with the ball on a string. The wide trunk is perfect, and my cats can comfortably fit two paws on it. The best part, it's distracted my larger cat away from my curtains, for the most part 🤣 Overall, 100% worth it and at a great price point. Considering buying another more for other rooms in the future.
