Excellent Product - LOVE
I just ordered this so there's always the chance that something could go wrong; but right now I love it, it's just as described and works wonderfully. I have a Diamond Press that works great for small dies. I keep it at my desk and use it a lot for sentiment dies but the plastic folders warp quickly and the opening is right under 2" . I then tried the Sizzix Sidekick, with a 2-1/2" wide opening. I liked that it used plates instead of folders but the plastic gears broke after about 8 months and the plates aren't very long. A few months ago I bought a new potable paper trimmer. Although it's a little big, I love it because it cuts pretty clean even though I've used the same blade it came with after daily use over three months ago, it scores okay ( could be better) and is great for a paper crafter. it is very well made. So when I looked up small die cutting machines I saw that Bira has one. It has a 3" opening instead of 2 -1/2" like the Sidekick. That extra area makes a big difference . There were so many dies that almost fit, it's terrific to grab and go. It cuts great, even detailed dies, dry embosses better that my Cuttlebug & my Platinum 6 - although they're great too. It comes with a base plate, cutting plate, embossing plate and unlike the other two small machines, it has an embossing pad for embossing with dies. It has long plates/pad and has a small platform, instead of just a hole to put your plates in, the handle turns very easy and smoothly too. The machine itself is solid and has a very nice weight to it. The level auctions it to your workspace. It works great on wood and glass. Don't hesitate to get this little machine, I highly recommend. The price was fantastic, at less than thirty. Thanks Bira, you have a customer for life as long as things keep going the way they are, and I don't think that will be a problem. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Mini Machine
I initially gave this machine a poor rating, but it was my fault, not the machines, which is why I am editing my review. The folks at Bira Craft were very concerned about what I had to say and helped me figure it out. I am really impressed with their customer service, it is beyond expectation. They never asked me to redo my review, it is what I felt was right. The machine is actually going to be one I will use a lot. It is the perfect size. If you buy this you won't be disappointed. I am a chronic crafter, especially with die cutting. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the suction. Bira Craft was kind enough to tell me that have passed down that concern to their quality control and thanked me for my feedback . With Customer Service like they offer and an outstanding little work horse, it is a winning combination. I searched small die cut machines for weeks before deciding on this one and I am extremely happy with my choice.

Burabira mini 3" opening dir and embossing machine. It's great!
I have used this little machine for a 5 days now and it cuts really well. It works great the little boxing folder that comes with. It's cool. I just wanted to address the issues that so many are having with the suction cup. I know that it's letting loose after a little bit and I finally tried just to squirt a water in the outside edges of the bottom and that keeps it totally secure on my table top which is kind of a smoothie like glass. So I highly recommend this little guy and especially now since I figured out what will help make the suction stick I hope this helps other others who are looking at this little machine, cause I love the 3 inch opening. Most of my dies will go through it.

So disappointed. Does not work.
Really disappointed, had high hopes. Does not work well at all. It will do fine on the cheaper simple shape dies, but anything else forget it. I tried several dies for about 40 minutes. I used cheap dies, Sizzix, Spellbinders, and Momenta. They couldn't even go through this machine without using your free hand to not only hold down the sandwich, but also help to push through while cranking. Grip doesn't hold, and it takes twice as much effort to crank item through (seemed like 2 to 3 cranks just to get the thing to move). The plates would literally go jaberwocky. I only purchased because of 3" opening. I have Sidekick and Priszm, which still are going strong but wanted something with a bit wider opening. Don't recommend. I speak from a place of experience. Been cardmaking for years. I make lots of interactive cards, 3d cards, etc. Pop-up, explosion, scenery, etc. I still have the original Cuttlebug (still going strong), large Spellbinder Platinum, and Vagabond. Was truly hopeful for this item so I could just keep it on my work desk for those dies that needed just less than 3 inches (which are actually a lot). Hope this helps. Happy crafting.

Bira Craft mini machine
I just received this machine a couple of days ago. When I used it the first time it was not very easy to use because of the lack of suction to hold it down and I will try the suggestion of the other reviewers. I received a bent plate C which doesn't allow the paper and die to lay flat as it's going through the opening. This is why I gave it a 3 star rating but it does cut well on most of the papers I’ll be using and I like the larger opening compared to other similar machines.

The rollers won't pull the plates through. You have to try and push them with one hand while turning the crank with the other. This is almost impossible, because the lock won't keep the machine in place. Then if it does start going through, the plates don't go through evenly and it starts to go crooked and you have to reverse. Into the garbage for this one.

Machine is tiny ..can't find many embossing folders. And the 0lates were terrible. Look like they were used several times very scratched up. Like some one else had them. Disgusting ..not impressed also if I had ordered like 8 was going to last month. There was no shipping fee as there is now
