Seeds so good, they corrupted nature
I got these seeds last year at the start of a winter, in a place I wasn't familiar with. I had to start them in a low light basement, as the average temperature outside during winter is 20ยฐF. Despite this, the seeds still sprouted nicely! Unfortunately, conditions were too cold and low light in the basement. So they eventually died off. I decided to reuse the soil, so I broke them up with a bunch of other materials and let it sit awhile. Summer finally warmed things up enough, and I decided to plant an avocado pit in the recycled soil. It grew a nice sapling! Then, I went out to water everything 2 weeks ago. What I saw amazed, confused and mildly disturbed me. I saw a stock with the leaves of both avocado trees and what these seeds sprout. Some vibrant green leaves with bright red stems and veins. They turned from smooth and round pure green leaves, to serrated star shaped leaves common with castor bean plants as it got up the stem. These 2 plants shouldn't be able to grow on the exact same stem together. But these seeds are so good, they not only came back from the dead but also came back very beautiful and hybridized to create something impossible. These seeds are worth every penny and more.

The mature plant is strikingly beautiful; but it's not the bushy plant advertised
These seed produce a plant no better than other seed providers I have tried in the past. The mature plant has deep burgundy foliage and cherry red seed pods and a tall plant, just not as bushy as the picture shows. I sprouted them indoors and planted them around my house after the temp was in the 80s, They didn't do much for several weeks when the temperature was well into the 90s. The one in the most scorching sun is the biggest, the castors getting less direct sun are shorter and shorter until you get to the shade where they haven't done much growing at all since planting.

Growing but seems to be very slow
When I started all of these seeds which were eight I had all eight plants come up when I transplanted them they seem to continue to grow however very very slow and it has been upwards of 70 to 90 degrees. In the past when I have bought Castor beans locally I generally have them come up like I did with these and within a matter of weeks they are very Hardy and growing fast. We'll see how it goes it is now June 8 2018 and I will update this sometime in August. I also took a picture of the plants that are around in my yard. They have been now growing for about 5 weeks.
