what pump do I use with this drain?

Typically you would bring the piping from this bottom drain thru a pre-filter of some kind (as sophisticated Helix Settlement tank or Evolution Aqua Sieve is or as simple as an extra-large strainer basket) and then to an external pump that is pulling the water in. An example of a good external pump would be Helix, Performance Pro or Sequence for some examples. It is always a good idea to run your setup ideas past a seasoned pond professional BEFORE you build the pond so we can make suggestions and educate you a bit about what you need and what the expected results will be if you use different options. Using a bottom drain can make your pond very low maintenance, as long as it is done correctly. We have drawings and plans we can offer free of charge. Terrible wont fit 4"pipe. I am truly disapointed that amazon sells this product

I am truly disappointed that amazon sells this product that is different than advertised. will not fit 4-inch drainage pipe or 4" potable pressure pipe and there is no solution.
