I absolutely LOVE this showerhead. Seriously, I like it so much that I thought it'd be messed up to not share my appreciation with anyone thinking of buying it. Although I've been using it for about two weeks, I saw a difference in the first couple of days. I recently got a new tattoo, and it seemed to be fading through the healing process, which wasn't something I'd ever seen. After two days of using this showerhead, the color was replenished. This was super easy to mount; I got a wrench to unscrew my old showerhead - which had a ton of white film on it that I still haven't seen develop on my new one - and screw on this one. Beware though: it will scratch easily. But it's good to make sure it's on there super tight so it won't leak. I can see a slight difference in the water pressure, but each of the settings feels like a spa on my skin, so I'm glad it streams softer. It feels so natural and soothing that I've grown to love my showers even more. I also usually use Shea butter to moisturize my skin when I jump out the shower, but as an experiment I decided to not use the Shea butter for a week...well I haven't had to use Shea butter at all on my skin since I started showering with this. My skin is incredibly soft. I do mean incredibly. My hair? Thriving with a moisture it hasn't had for YEARS. And I'm natural, so my fro can reaaaally see a difference. I even saw my back-ne clear up. It's like my body was healed by the clean water. I don't know all of the impurifies that are my water before it's filtered, but they're definitely strong enough to dry out my skin and hair. Using this showerhead resolved all of that dryness and irritation. It really makes me want to filter my entire apartment, just one thing at a time. Cause it's WORTH IT. You're WORTH IT. And your skin and hair will THANK YOU. *btw: I got a simple filter for my best friend and she loves it. So if this is out of your price range I highly suggest grabbing a simple filter to add to the shower. BUT if you can get this one, you won't be disappointed. At all.

Okay, so the last 6 months or so I was beginning to believe that the reason my hair and skin sucked was because I was now 30 and was starting to decompose. I have spent $100's on products and treatments for my thick, slightly wavy, fine hair that has been frizzy, dry, breaking and as my hairdresser put it: "chewy". I have spent even more $100's on skin care products to treat the post-pubescent acne and flaky dry, red patches that I was getting. Finally, I wondered....what about the water? My bf thought I was overreacting and getting all OCD about the next thing or "fad" to invest in, but I wanted to try it out anyway, even it was just to eliminate that factor altogether for the sake of my sanity. After grueling research on what to look for when buying a water filtation apparatus, reading hundreds of reviews on different brands, models etc., I finally resolved on this Culligan shower head and model. Upon receiving it, I couldn't wait to use it. Mind you, my bf still thought I was crazy. Today I installed it and used it. So did he. We LOVE it!!!!!!!! Installation was a breeze, getting it out of the package was not. It has one of those blister pack "they do not want you to actually open it" packaging. After I finally freed the shower head and filter I was happy to find a clear, concise, informative instruction pamphlet along with the Teflon tape. It was really easy to install. I didn't quite get down the 5 different spay settings yet, but again, I've only used it once o far. The difference was noticeable right away. The water felt indescribably cleaner. My skin didn't sting after shaving (I have really sensitive skin and even the gentlest razor irritates my skin). My hair felt like the products I was using was actually doing their job. When I got out of the shower the first thing I noticed was that my face was bright, clear, and not the usual red, blotchy mess it has been lately after showering. My arms and my legs felt like they haven't felt in a long time...ridiculously butter-soft. I didn't have to struggle to get product evenly distributed through my hair or to get a comb through it (I'm assuming that's the "chewiness"). As it dried it was completely frizz free and insanely shiny. The real test was the blow dryer. Lately after blow drying, my hair has felt fried and crunchy, and has looked dull, damaged and sad. This day...today...it was luminous, soft and looked like it does the 24 hours after leaving your salon. It's totally the water! My bf thought that I was still crazy because he thought that an immediate difference couldnt be a possibility, but then he took a shower... Since I was out, he text me raving about it!! His hair is indeed noticeably shinier, softer and healthier looking in general. He now wants me to replace every faucet for a filtered one!!! The moral of the story is that this shower head is awesome and you're insane not to buy it. Even if you don't want this one, get a different one. No one should have to shower in water that is slowly poisoning us. It's so obvious to me now just how harmful these things are to humans. I am so glad I bought this and will recommend getting a filteration device to everyone I know. It's worth every single penny (even with the maintenance of replacing the filter every 6 months). Just buy it already!!

Can you say HYDROtherapy? My entire life I'd thought that I had extremely dry and sensitive skin and hair, but when switching to this, I realize my problem was not only internal, but external because of my water source. I never understood why the doctors said to shower to help with asthma attacks, because they never worked. I just always got tired. My first use, I noticed my lungs opened up like never before in the shower. My chest felt so soothed. My lungs felt great. Now why didn't doctor mention you need clean water to help open the lungs instead of chlorinated water? OMG! My hair! I am a black woman with natural hair, and WOW! My hair did a 180 after switching to this water. I moisturize my hair 2-3 times a week now, instead of daily. Did you read that right? Yes. I went from moisturizing 1-2 times DAILY to 2 or 3 times weekly, depending on the weather. What a difference in the manageability and shine! I use less conditioner, hair stays moisturized longer, and I only oil my body 2 times a week now. That's right ladies. Soft skin right out of the shower with no need for lotions, creams, and butters. No ashiness, no tightness, no alligator skin! My twistouts are WAAAAAY less frizzy, and my hair care is so much more simple now. Highly recommended for those with skin conditions such as eczema, dryness, psoriasis, or just sensitive skin. Recommended for those with sensitive lungs too! Since the vapors from the shower are no longer chlorinated. Cons: The stream of water is narrow, however it's no big deal for me being a petite woman, however I could see if you were a big man how this could be a problem. The water pressure decreased after about 2 weeks like mentioned in other reviews, however mine fixed itself. Very happy with my purchase, and will continue to buy these. I am also going to gift some of these to family. Clean water makes a difference! 1/11/16. Years later, I'm still loving this filter. So I accidentally forgot my older shower filter in my old apartment after moving, and while living with friends, I realized how valuable this filter is! My skin started to itch and get dull only 2 weeks without this filter. My feet got incredibly dry from the water pooling at the bottom of the shower, and all that scale and calcium getting stuck on my feet had me trying every oil under the sun to moisturize them with pedicures every 12 days. (Never worked btw). My hair, ugh, dull, frizzier, less manageable, and just didn't stay moisturized very long like I was accustomed to. Was wondering why my conditioners didn't seem to penetrate as well, and why my ends were splitting more easily even after repeated trims and dustings. Finally, after 6 months of no filter and moving into my own place, my skin and hair ARE SINGING and thanking me for my replacement filter, and so is my wallet in terms of health/beauty monthly costs. Like I've mentioned, no more oiling up every day or moisturizing my hair every day, which saves me money. Looking forward to keeping my skin, lungs, and hair healthier and beautiful this year.

Yesterday I received this filtered shower head and I immediately installed it and both my wife and I have showered with it. Both of us like it very much. I'm back to add a couple of comments in case they are helpful. We purchased this item to remove chlorine from our shower water for the healthful benefits. It's not that our water seems over chlorinated, just that we want to limit our exposure to toxic chemicals wherever we can within reason. This was an easy and inexpensive improvement to make. With this shower head in place, shampoo and soap lathers up a little better and washes off more cleanly and easily. Our skin and hair both felt a little better for both of us. Not a huge difference but noticeable. The Culligan WSH-C125 filtered shower head seems well made even though I think the main housing is made of plastic not metal. No problem though as the shower head feels substantial and well built. We left the flow restrictor in place (as it comes installed in the head) as we previously had a low flow shower head. The water pressure and flow seemed excellent, if anything a little more than our previous shower head. We just like the shower head on the standard full body spray setting and that's where we will leave it. I was initially concerned about the description of a "fixed" shower head. I wanted to be sure the shower head is adjustable so you can point it where you want. No problem, there is a ball joint at the back so you can adjust the angle of the head as you prefer. It has a locking collar on it that you can tighten to your preference. The filter is very easy to change for when that becomes necessary. Installation was very easy as well and the only tool I needed was a pair of channel lock pliers. We did a lot of research prior to buying this and we are happy with our decision. We recommend this item highly! Update June 5, 2015: This shower head is working great. We recommended it to several friends and those who have purchased it like it too. We continue to be satisfied and would buy again. Update May 5, 2017: This shower head is still working great and looks brand new even after 2 years of use. We are very satisfied and continue to highly recommend.

Read the reviews and decided to try it for myself, I speak very highly of this shower head/filter and the best part of all it is easy to install. I removed the water restrictor (small plastic plug and small O ring seal that are removed with tweezers) because the water pressure was not to my liking. It is designed to emit 2.5 gallons a minute with the restrictor installed but I would have to think it is less than that, I do not care about saving water, I want to get in, do my business and get out asap. After removing the restrictor the the flow was actually better than what I had before with the older/original shower head. Immediately felt the difference with the first shower, I have a shower mirror used for shaving and the water softness was remarkable, so much so that I knew immediately something was different, remarkably close shave that seemed to be quicker (so probably saving water anyways). Only negs I can say; it is hard as heck to change the shower head setting if your hands are wet and the pivot to adjust the position of the shower head is weak and will not hold in position except for a few spots. Luckily the position that I use is perfect but there basically is no adjustment for sideways or slightly down or further to the back of the shower as the pivot ball is weak and will let the shower head just dangle down towards the drain. Set at a normal height and position it does stay in place. Weird huh? You would think Culligan would research their product in the real world before they mass produced them as this issue with the pivot ball seems to be a steady complaint in the online reviews for this product! Regardless, I do recommend this filter/shower head; makes your skin/hair feel great, you rinse super clean and water pressure is more than adequate. Price is very fair for what you get, replacement cartridges are pricey but IMHO worth every cent. I suspect since I took the water restrictor out the filter will need to be replaced every 4 months in place of 6 months as the manufacturer suggested but small price to pay for removing chlorine, fluoride etc... from the water. After all, your skin is considered an organ and any chemicals you will not come into contact with the better.

I bought this showerhead to replace a ridiculously expensive T3 unit. It seems to work just as well at filtration without all the marketing hype about negative ions, and the entire showerhead was about the price of the T3 replacement filter. We did remove the low-flow adapter, since we have very, very low water pressure in our city. The resulting pressure is HIGH - a lot like the Seinfeld episode someone else mentioned. I love this, since it gets the shampoo out of my hair in about 30 seconds, as opposed to the 2 minutes it used to take. Installation was as easy as showerheads usually are, and there was plenty of plumber's tape that came with the unit. All that said, you should be aware that this is a PLASTIC showerhead that's painted chrome. I was really disappointed in that aspect, since plastic pits and discolors quickly, in my experience. We've also found that no amount of adjustment can generate more than 3 settings, despite the promised 5. That's not such a bad thing, since we pretty much only use one - but it also would have been nice if it worked as advertised. It also has a narrower spray area than we like, being just wide enough to hit the inside edges of both shoulders at once. Homes with higher mounts may not have this problem, though. For the money, this is a decent showerhead. We'll probably use it until it needs a replacement filter and then buy something else with a wider spray area, metal construction, and different settings (I'd like to see something closer to "rainfall", for example).

This is truly one of the best health purchases I've made for my family in quite some time!!!!! I had no idea this would be the case, but our lives are a LOT better since we installed this Culligan Filtered showerhead. Several health issues--- even ones I never knew were related to chlorine--- improved SIGNIFICANTLY since installing it. I have always had issues with chlorine in swimming pools--- my main symptom would be bloodshot eyes. I started to avoid pool swimming, swimming only in lakes and oceans. About ten years ago, I started noticing that my eyes would be red and bloodshot whenever I got out of the shower, too. Although I've never been drunk and don't drink alcohol, I imagine this is what hangover eyes might look like--- bloodshot, red and blearly. I didn't put the two together until recently, when I started reading a little bit about the poison called chlorine. Although only a minor annoyance, really, I figured it couldn't hurt my bloodshot eyes to try a showerhead that filtered out the chlorine. Well, the showerhead significantly improved my bloodshot eyes... but it also helped SO MUCH MORE! I never really noticed it before (since I assumed it was normal) but usually after I took a shower I would be fatigued, sometimes to the point of exhaustion. I just assumed it was the heat from the shower; I never understood when people would say they were “refreshed” after a shower, since I never was. Well, after installing the Culligan filterhead, now I get it! I’m not fatigued after a shower anymore! I did some research after this and found that chlorine can cause an immune reaction in your lungs similar to asthma. In fact, it’s been found that elite swimmers who spend a lot of time in chlorinated water have high levels of immune cells and inflammation markers in their lungs similar to those with asthma! (Google “pool chlorine lung swimmers.”) Besides this pleasant surprise, another member of the household also had their health improve. The Culligan showerhead also helped them with their eczema and psoriasis! Seriously. These were decade-long problems which have gotten 50% better in two weeks. Truly amazing! On the vanity front, it also changed our hair quality. My hair is much shinier and smoother now, as is everyone’s here-- even without any conditioner. And here I thought my hair was getting strawlike just because I’m getting older. Not! It was the chlorine! One thing I would say, though, is that, although the showerhead says that it “filters up to 99% of chlorine,” I know for a fact that this is not the case. How do I know this? Well, I’m a professor of physics and environmental science. I took a sample of the filtered water to school and a sample of the unfiltered water to school and tested them for chlorine content. The Culligan only filtered about 80-85% of the chlorine in the original water; 20% of the chlorine was still present after being filtered by the Culligan. I guess this isn’t exactly false advertising, since it stated “filters UP TO 99% of chlorine.” 80% is surely UP TO 99%. Still, an 80% reduction in chlorine content has improved our health significantly. I would recommend it!

I WAS really happy with my improved -not perfect, but significantly better- water quality. My skin stopped itching and peeling, the water stopped burning my eyes, it smelled and tasted better, and stopped leaving residue on the tub and walls. And, it was very easy to install. Unfortunately, the filter was SUPPOSED to last for 6 months or 10,000 gallons of water, but it only lasted less than 2 months and less than 1,000 gallons of water. Thinking I might have just received a bad filter I gave Culligan the benefit of the doubt and bought a new filter, and it happened again. For those interested, here is the math on the gallons of water used: I shower 3 times a week, for between 10-20 minutes, and I'm the only one who uses the shower. The average gallons of water per minute according to both the product description and the American average is 2 gallons of water per minute in the shower. So, 2 gallons per minute, at an average of 15 minutes, 3 days a week, for 2 months aka 8 weeks ((2 x 15) x (3 x 8)) is only 720 gallons. Even if i showered every day for 30 minutes that would still only be 1,830 gallons per month, that is still less than 1/5th of how many gallons advertised, and I would have had to replace the filer in less than half a month. It's very disappointing, and very frustrating because it DID work. So, now I have to decide if I want to buy a new filter every month and a half, when I bought this thinking (since I use so little water) I'd only have to replace it at MOST twice a year, or I have to go through the hassle of researching and buying a totally different system, which may or may not work. Finally, I would just like to say that if buying new filters more frequently isn't an issue for you, this product DOES really work. Don't pay attention to the people with their water test strips. I've worked many years testing water quality for fish and wildlife, and I can firmly attest that water test STRIPS and digital water testers are extremely unreliable. If you really need test proof that there is a difference in your water quality the most accurate way to get an accurate water reading is, of course, to send in a sample to a local lab. But, for those who don't need or want to go to that extreme (I mean, let's be reasonable here), you should use the kind of water test kit that comes with bottles of chemicals and test tubes (similar to pool, pond, or aquarium kits, but for tap water), such as the Hach Total Hardness Test Kits. Really though, this shower head is about the same price or less than most test kits. Again, if you don't mind the cost of changing the filter more often, JUST TRY IT. You don't need tests to feel and see the difference the filter makes. P.S. Don't drink the water that's been filtered through this shower head. I tried it, thinking it might work the same as a sink water filter- it does not. I got very bad food poisoning. This water is great for your skin, but should not be ingested (Also, I realize that was a stupid idea on my part. I didn't remove any stars for that reason).

En cuestión de calidad se mira bien, la compré desde 2024 y la pude usar como una semana porque no enroscó bien en los brazos de regadera de mi casa y salía muy poca agua, así que quité la regadera esperando conseguir otro brazo pronto, pero por diversas situaciones pasaron muchos meses hasta ahora que sin querer conseguí otro brazo de regadera y en ese sí enroscó bien sin embargo la presión sigue siendo igual de baja, así que deberían decir que este producto solo trabaja con presiones altas, ya que solo con esta regadera tengo problemas y con cualquier otra funciona normal.

Received this product and had some installation issues (below). However, the filter is easy to install and the whole process is pretty straight forward. Additionally, my sensitive and dry skin is definitely feeling better. Pros - Easy installation process (remove old showerhead and all the old plumbers tape in threads then re-tape with the included teflon tape and screw on this new shower head.) - Definitely helps my sensitive and dry skin. Removes most of the Chlorine in the water. - Filter can be easily installed and changed. - Good shower pressure (even with the flow restricter in). If you need higher pressure, take out the white filter inside the threading of the showerhead. - 5 Settings all worked pretty well and no clogged holes so far. Cons - Threads were a little tight on my piping - had to use two pipe wrenches to tighten (one to hold pipe, one to turn showerhead). - Showerhead was drooping straight down upon install (fixable below). *I WOULD CHECK THIS BEFORE INSTALLATION* - Only about 6-8 inches wide of water spray. - To change the spray settings, you have to hold the showerhead and twist the greyish rubber area. Troubleshooting - If water is leaking form the connection of showerhead and pipe, you need to reinstall the teflon tape (should give the threads a good 2-3 rounds of teflon tape). Then screw the showerhead on tighter (may need pipe wrenches). I had to tighten my showerhead so that the metal ring covered ALL exposed pipe threading before it stopped dripping water. -If the showerhead is drooping and wont stay in place, you need to adjust a rubber ring/gasket inside the showerhead. To access this, you need to twist the ring directly behind the large part of the showerhead counterclockwise, it should be about 3 wide (diameter) and it screws off the showerhead. You may need to use a cloth (pretty rough on the hands). Mine took a good amount of strength to remove, but once removed there is a black rubber gasket that you need to pull out and reseat inside the shower head. This should correct your tilting mechanism. This would probably be easier done before the installation onto the existing piping.

Great shower head - the flow is powerful, and also has generous droplet size. Our last shower head had small fast jets with a wider spray pattern, but this one is the perfect hybrid between rain shower and powerful spray. The filter is great and softens the water for a better shower too.
