I was looking for a very plain, inexpensive XS case. I've had the same $10.00 generic "Diztronic" case on my trusty iPhone SE for over two years. It's been bombproof. This Anuck unit seemed pretty similar. Unfortunately, it is not. The fit and feel are fine, and the texture is pleasantly grippy and seems like it should wear well. However, the very first time I pulled the phone out of my front pocket the lower right-hand corner tore. I've probably pulled my old phone with its old case out of that same pocket thousands of times, and it has never immediately fallen apart. Designing one of these cases to be reasonably durable doesn't seem like a big ask. Very disappointed. I know a quality case can be found at a reasonable price, but this isn't it. Look elsewhere.

If you’re looking for a plain black reliable phone case, look no further. Browsing through hundreds of cases on amazon and eventually choosing this one, I’m extremely glad I made this choice. Wasn’t looking for anything flashy, just plain and simple while also reliable. This case checks all the boxes
