You will only ever need 1 basket when you buy this one. It's the same type as veterinarians use I have a 6 kg birman, plus the opposite end of the size cats a 2kg singapura. They travel well (only 1 at a time to vets or for longer trip to shows. Excellent quality. Easy to put pets in as top opening, cats or other types of pets such as bunnies, skunks etc yes I have a pet skunk. I do however cover the basket this may help with Meowing, but not totally. If I have to pick a fault the 'rod' to secure the top could be a bit longer, but that's a nit pick. I definitely will buy another one as I have 4 cats plus other pets. I like the red one

Our tortoiseshell cat is always very afraid at the vet which can make getting her out of the crate at the practice really difficult. Because I no longer wanted to essentially have to "tip the crate", I got this one. It is sturdy, easy to use and the opening is large enough to move the cat in and out easily. Yes, they are rather pricey but you do get a quality product for the price, not some flimsy plastic crate with openings that are too small and clasps that snap.

Very happy with this cat carrier much better than the older closed in carrier we had the trouble was my cat hated going anywhere in a carrier and would scream all the way to the vets this new wire one seems to be much better she climbs in the wire one just to play in it and doesn’t seem to be too upset when she has to leave the house in her. New cage as she can look out of all the. Sides and the roof this seems to help her stay calmer when she has to travel anywhere I am not. Going to say it stops her being distressed at all but it is so much better and we don’t have to worry that the carrier will come apart when we are outside with her we were shown this design by our cattery and this is the design they recommend for safety and the best happiness of their cats I am pleased we purchased this item would recommend

Excellent carrier, sturdy and secure. Reasonably easy to get my difficult cat inside. Once in, she seemed quite happy on the blanket I'd put in there and enjoys being able to see out. My cat is an average sized 4kg moggy and seemed a little cramped, could turn round but short on head room, but it's only for short 10min journeys.

My cat hates going to the vet... But this is much easier as I can pick her up and drop her in. She's a medium sized cat, around 4kg, and there's plenty of room. The tray is good and strong, won't hold a big wee, but I put the carrier on plastic and a towel for her to sit on just in case. The bar is sturdy, but as always we ensure it is secure. You can add a carabineer or padlock for added security. So far we have been scratch free! Though I can't guarantee the poor vet has been...

Last Wednesday our new cat, Ted, was delivered to us by the cat rescue people in a red version of this carrier. I looked at it and was impressed. Ordered Thursday, delivered Friday and used for a trip to the vet on Friday evening. Ted never blinked. Easy entrance/exit. Completely trouble free experience with this carrier (although perhaps Ted's nature contributed to a stress-free journey). I chose a green one and it's a good looking object with easy handling and quite lightweight. We are due to get a female (Florence) next month and I am considering buying a pink one for her knowing how successful this carrier is for us. All in all an excellent purchase for all concerned.

Apart from getting a white one instead of a green one, I'm very happy with this cat basket. It's very sturdy and secure, and so far I've managed to get my cat in it without any trouble. She hates baskets and it's been a nightmare trying to get her into front loading ones. I think she likes being able to see out of it all round too.

Much better than the closed in tunnel type. My elderly cat settled much better because he could see me and his surroundings. On our journey to our caravan he stayed quiet within a few minutes. In the tunnel type he howled all the way until we got there. Put us off going. Also the built in tray catches any accidents. Thumbs up for this item. Definitely fit for purpose.

Ich setze die Körbe im Zuge von Einfangaktionen für den Tierschutzverein ein. Insgesamt sind sie ok. Der Griff könnte etwas hochwertiger sein, da er schon recht leicht daher kommt. Die herausnehmbare Bodenschale ist Schrott. Ein Marder hat diese dünne Schale in wenigen Sekunden geschreddert. Ich musste ihn dann schnell umsetzen, da die geschredderten Teile ihn wegen der scharfen Kanten hätten verletzen können. Ich habe die Schalen dann durch zugeschnittene, dickere Plastikplatten ersetzt. Die unteren Ecken des Drahtkorbs sind etwas dünn. Sollte man den Korb mit dem Boden irgendwo anstoßen oder zu hart schräg aufsetzen, dann verbiegen diese leicht. Bisher sind diese verbogenen Stellen dank der Beschichtung noch nicht gerostet. Wird aber kommen. Für den aufgerufenen Preis von 50€ ganz ok. Ich würde aber gerne 60€ bezahlen, wenn die genannten Mängel ausgebessert würden.

Ich verwende den Transportkäfig für unsere Katze. Einfache und vorallem schnelle Handhabung, da die Katze nicht begeistert ist wenn's zum Tierarzt geht. Der Käfig kann von oben bestückt werden, da ist die Katze schnell verstaut, da gibt es keine Diskussion.

Der Korb ist gut verarbeitet, ich muss ihn erst in der Praxis probieren, wenn es das nächste Mal zum Tierarzt geht. Wir haben unsere Kätzchen mal reingesetzt, Sie haben sich nicht gewehrt, wie bei unseren anderen Katzenkorb. Außerdem hat unsere Tierärztin uns diese Art von Korb empfohlen....
