Agstum Retro Small Round Optical Rare Wire Rim Eyeglasses Frame

My go-to round, eyeglass frames for my prescription lenses! I have no bridge in my nose, so the simple saddle and curved cable temple (ear arms) make these glasses sturdy & a wonderful fit. I used to have my spectacles fly off my face when bending over, but no longer. These Agstum rounds are everything I was looking for and more! And my optometrist had no problem putting in prescription lenses. Be forewarned though, these may differ slightly in size from pair to pair, so be sure to have in hand when you're ready to fill with your prescription.

Mood after I left my eye appointment spending money only on my eye appointment and prescription.. I’m so hype these worked out! I didn’t have to walk through the whole selection in the store only to end up not being able to pick a pair that really fits me! These glasses are so comfortable that I can lay down on my pillow and fall asleep.. my all time favorite glasses EVER!!! And I’ve had to have prescription glasses since a kid. 😍

I’m giving this product a high-ish rating even though they do not fit my face & head at all. I’m big & tall with a larger-than-average head (size 7-3/4 hat). The frame width is quite narrow, and the wraparound arms are way short and hurt my ears after a while. The flexible curved wire goes right back to their shape when I take them off... I guess that’s a good design, but I kind of wish I could reshape them to conform to my ears. But for the average- to small-sized human head they should fit nicely, I presume. I love the classic design shape & color. Nothing indicates that it’s from the modern era, for example, no bridge cushions. They fold almost completely flat, so they’re easy to transport in a long cushioned jewelry box. I only wish I got them in a larger size. The price could be lower, and the delivery window could be smaller too. But I suppose that can’t be helped.

I purchased a pair of customized glasses about a year ago. They came from a good distance away so it took two weeks. There was a broken part and they replaced it without question. I like my glasses so I ordered another frame.( Because the lenses are still perfect!) And they got here quickly. I really like this company and I think you will too !!

They are not even real reading glasses. The lenses are just plastic they have no magnification at all. Complete rip off

Light, flexible yet durable eyewear. Was no problem getting prescription lenses for these at Bard Optical, although they wouldn’t guarantee frames. Saved a lot of money on frames though!

When I view eye glasses ONLINE where customers share their own photos, I repeatedly see elements of BAD FIT that only professionally trained optometrists seem to know or care about having read these reviews. and others.... THIS FRAME HAS A MAJOR issue that makes it not good for most people, like myself; THE INWARD EXTENSION of the BEND OF THE BRIDGE, on this design, will only fit people who's own nasal bridge region is VERY SUNKEN, meaning, there is very little depth from the eye to the nose bridge (or nasion or root), or if you might consider almost as if your eyes are large and extend a bit outward. The result if your nose bridge is more AVERAGE extended, or if MORE extended ("roman nose" , see John Lennon image: the bridge of his glasses extend OUTWARD Not inward as this model does), equates to the eye glass itself sitting far from your eyes, possibly making the lense RX almost NO GOOD, like mine. I think it even looks very odd, but other people i see, think its fine for them. I should upload a photo of course. The effect is that I can push my entire index finger from the lower part of the frame to the eyebrow. Check your own glasses that fit well: I cannot do that with any glasses I have owned in the past. SO, watch out: seek frames that have the bridge nearly level with the lenses. I don't like nose pads, so my habit is to slowly bend them back and forth till they break off at the weld, and sand the edge down with a normal nail file and use nail polish on metal edge, very carefully: unscrew and remove lenses if you can, for paint touch up. OK, TMI... but seriously, i loved these for quality but the bridge will only look good on a smaller population of humans. Try them, Return right away, if this FIT is not you. I took a chance, don't like to return purchases, and got lenses put in: and can't blame the seller, but that small extra distance away from my eyes messed up the RX, AND you constantly SEE THE whole round RIMs, in your line of vision, cannot get used to it. My purchase was the 43/grey, and the TEMPLES where actually fine for my average size adult face/head. ALSO, people, the most flattering ROUND glasses for any face? The TOP of the round rim should NOT go past the eyebrows. Friends won't tell you, but I am: it looks ... unflattering,.. OK, IMHO.

The bright golden color of the arm is getting fade to dull aluminium color. The color was life long garranteed. But it fails. Unfortunate and painfull . No meaning of garraunttee stands.

only thing wrong with is the arms are different lengths

Fell to pieces within 6 months.
