Great device to auto control volume or gain. You can hear mids, little bit less bass but it's ok. With more bass sound more farther, with less bass and mids more visible sound more closer to the listener.

Very easy to install, just add it to audio source output and connect output to your system audio in. In my case I use it with several monitor receivers that widely varying audio levels. Keeps every signal very even. Please not that you have to adjust each source until you reach a happy point that satisfies your ears. It’s not just for Karaoke.8/6/19: Update on this device. Well it worked ok at first but no longer seems to level out the volume. So am reducing evaluation to one star.8/9/19: Update 2 switched to Rolls SL33B. Works way better then the Lemon...... Rolls is a better design... Made in USA!

We watch a t.v. station that has exceedingly loud commercials. I installed the unit between the t.v. audio output and a stereo amplifier.I was expecting it to even out the volume but was disappointed. It helped a little but still louder than the programming.

Works okay for my tv. If there is a very loud or very quiet sound, this thing takes a split second to adjust the volume. It definetly helps a lot, but I still get brief loud noises until it adjusts the volume.

Update my first review below.I had a hum to develop in my audio so I changed the power supply and it corrected the issue. I still love this audio limiter. Operates perfectly without fail. As stated....Its the "Real Mckoy" that does just what it advertises to do.Seller should change their ad that kind of points as it's just for karaoke.I use it to limit my scanner from blasting out at me.Should be advertised as a limiter for any audio.Enjoy!! I sure do.*****************************************************(Original first review)Fantastic unit.I have a scanner that put out all kinds of different levels of sound.It was irritating to say the least to listen to our local police hence the audio level of each unit was so different.I would have it set at a nominal level for most units but the dispatcher and a handful of mobile units would almost bust the speaker (and my ears).I ordered this LEMONKTV audio controller and just like that my scanner was putting out level audio.The low volume units were raised up to hear better and the ear popping louder units were brought down to a level even with the other units.This is an answer to my prayers.What a great feeling that I don't have to cringe at the unlevel blasting of ear piercing audio levels.

I picked this up since my new HTPC does not support W10 audio enhancements for reasons and my TV auto leveling is not good at all.So far this seems to work well. It reacts pretty quickly to loud noises and doesn't hold the volume to low for too long. Sound quality feels good, don't hear any distortion or hum.I use it for the following;YouTube (Mostly talking)TwitchTV ShowsNetflixConsoles (Switch was always way too quiet)UpdateOn podcast like audio, the left channel gets louder than the right channel. Very annoying, loses three stars to this. I ended up taking it out of my setup. Might send it back.

Audio comes up on left channel and balances, but the right channel lags with the AGC function, especially during speech. When continuous music starts it seems to do a better job. Could be defective; but, just seems weird.Have used Terk VR1 several times before, for streaming broadcast installations for small churches, with great success. This device didn't do what was expected.

Solved the problem. We use thumbs to copy MP3 music to. Problem audio levels were not consistent on playing. Placed it between our MP3 player and Pre-amp. It does a great job automatically making the output sharper and with little audio level variation. Simple but works.
