The "Ghost Fingerprint"
While many people go for the traditional "clown-white" cotton gloves, I’ve spent the last month testing the ENPOINT Black Archival Photo Gloves. Whether you’re a numismatist, a jewelry designer, or a film enthusiast, here is the professional breakdown of why this 10-pair bulk set is a mandatory addition to your toolkit. The "Black Glove" Advantage In the professional world of art handling and jewelry sales, black is superior to white. Aesthetics: If you are presenting a diamond ring or a silver coin to a client, black gloves provide a "high-contrast" background that makes the item pop. Cleanliness: White gloves look filthy after handling just three or four items. Black gloves hide minor dust and oxidation, allowing you to maintain a professional appearance throughout an entire trade show or gallery opening. Light Control: For darkroom work or handling light-sensitive film, black gloves prevent the reflective "flash" that can happen with white fabrics. Material & Dexterity These are lightweight cloth gloves designed for precision. I tested them while handling 35mm film strips and thin silver coins. The fit is snug enough that you don't lose your "tactile sense." You can still feel the edges of the objects you’re holding, which is vital for preventing accidental drops—a common issue with thicker, bulkier gloves. PROS Exceptional Bulk Value: You get 10 pairs (20 gloves total). This is perfect for high-volume environments like inspection lines or for keeping a fresh pair in every camera bag, glove box, and desk drawer. Highly Breathable: Unlike latex or nitrile, these cloth gloves allow your hands to breathe. I wore them for a 3-hour archival session and didn't experience the "swamp-hand" sweat that usually leads to discomfort. Washable and Reusable: These are not "disposable." You can toss them in a mesh laundry bag and run them through a gentle cycle, making them far more eco-friendly and cost-effective than plastic alternatives. Universal Fit: The fabric has enough "give" to accommodate both men’s and women’s hands comfortably. They also work as excellent "liners" inside heavy-duty rubber work gloves. Lint-Minimized: While no cotton-blend is 100% lint-free, ENPOINT has done a great job with the knit density here. They leave behind significantly less fiber than standard "drugstore" cotton gloves. CONS Not for Heavy Lifting: These are "archival" and "inspection" gloves. They do not have rubberized grips. If you are moving heavy glass frames or large furniture, you’ll find them too slippery. Seam Sensitivity: There is a seam at the fingertips. If you are doing ultra-fine work (like picking up microscopic stamps), you may need to rotate the glove slightly to get the best "feel." Thinness: They are thin by design (for dexterity), so don't expect them to provide warmth in a cold warehouse. Overall Input The ENPOINT Archival Gloves are a masterclass in specialized utility. They do one job—protecting sensitive surfaces from human oils—and they do it perfectly. The transition to black fabric is a smart, professional move that elevates the experience of handling your most prized possessions. Pro-Tip: To keep these "archival grade" after washing, do not use fabric softener. Softeners leave a chemical residue on the cloth that can transfer back onto your coins or film. Air-dry them to prevent shrinkage, and they will stay in "like-new" condition for dozens of uses! Who is this for? Coin and stamp collectors, film photographers, jewelry sellers, museum docents, and anyone doing precision metal or mirror inspection.

Good product
Very good. Fits the inbetween medium/large hand

Very Small
"Update - After forcing the gloves on they will work however the thumb and forefinger accommodation is restricted." The gloves seem adequate for handling art but are extremely small. I ordered the large and I doubt they would comfortably fit most teen age girls.

Great gloves
Great for making my YouTube videos and letting the agate, Jasper, quartz crystals and petrified wood take the front line. Alabamausa1234 on YouTube 🤠

Not too large for normal sized hands
Good quality cotton glove, about what one should expect for the price point. The material is thick and has little to no stretch to it. Where the glove dissapoints is in the size department. They are not very large at all and don't reach past the wrist. I would wear an extra large glove, these fit like a medium on my hand. One size does not "fit all" as they say.

Good fit, soft, works well for art handling
These cotton gloves have a good stretchy, form-fitting shape that work well for handling artwork. I don't expect them to last forever, but the 5-pack should keep me covered for a good while.
