Excellent Espresso Quality at an Everyday Price
Lavazza Super Crema has become a staple in my Subscribe & Save lineup. I use it regularly in my KitchenAid CM5418 Espresso Machine, and it consistently produces smooth, flavorful espresso with a rich crema that rivals many coffees costing significantly more. The flavor profile is balanced and approachable, with enough richness to enjoy straight as espresso while also working beautifully in milk-based drinks. The beans grind consistently and pull reliable shots with plenty of crema and excellent aroma. For anyone making espresso at home, this coffee delivers a combination of quality, consistency, and value that's hard to beat.

Excellent Everyday Espresso Beans With Smooth Flavor and Great Crema
I’ve purchased Lavazza Super Crema multiple times, and it has become one of my favorite everyday espresso coffees. The beans have a strong, fresh aroma when you open the bag, and they consistently produce a smooth, well-balanced cup without being overly bitter. I pick up subtle nutty notes, and it’s one of the few coffees I genuinely enjoy drinking black. I use these whole beans in my espresso machine, and they grind evenly with no issues. The beans are not excessively oily, which is important for keeping espresso machines and grinders running smoothly. They also produce a nice crema and a rich flavor that tastes more expensive than the price would suggest. One thing I appreciate is that this coffee is smooth on my stomach. Some coffees can be harsh or acidic, but I’ve never had that issue with this blend. It’s flavorful without being overpowering, making it a great everyday coffee for both espresso drinks and straight shots. The only downside is that the bag is not resealable, but since I buy it regularly, I simply transfer the beans to an airtight container and they stay fresh throughout the bag. Overall, this is one of the best values I’ve found for whole bean espresso coffee. The quality is consistent from bag to bag, the flavor is excellent, and it’s a coffee I continue to repurchase. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a smooth, dependable everyday espresso bean.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee is an outstanding everyday espresso blend that consistently delivers a smooth, balanced cup. From the first grind, it has a rich, inviting aroma that makes the brewing process feel like part of the experience. The flavor profile is where this coffee really shines. The blend of Arabica and Robusta beans creates a nice balance of smoothness and mild sweetness with a light, creamy body. It produces a well-rounded espresso that’s not overly bitter, making it very approachable for both beginners and more experienced coffee drinkers. One of the standout qualities is the consistency. Each brew comes out reliably good, whether used in an espresso machine, moka pot, or even a drip setup. The crema it produces is thick and velvety, which adds a café-quality feel to home espresso shots. In terms of value, it’s an excellent choice for a daily coffee. The quality is high enough to feel premium, but it’s still affordable enough for regular use without hesitation. The beans also stay fresh well when stored properly, maintaining flavor over time. Overall, Lavazza Super Crema is a dependable, smooth, and enjoyable coffee that works well for everyday drinking. It’s versatile, flavorful, and consistently satisfying—an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys a balanced espresso-style roast at home.

Every bag I try, I'll update this review.
I'm a home-barista, and I own a Breville Barista Pro. It's a great home espresso machine. I drink my espresso straight, or as iced-coffee in the summer and lattés when it's cold. That's the context. Now, how do I like these coffees? In general, I've found Lavazza coffees to be good in quality and arrive fresh and ready to brew. The company packs their coffee tightly and with the oxygen in the bag replaced by nitrogen. Some people wonder about where to find the "roasted-on" date on the bag, but for this particular packaging method, the "best-by" date is an appropriate measure. 1. October 2022, Barista Gran Crema: It's marketed as floral, with notes of baked-goods and honey. I very much agree with the baked-goods and honey. Acidity is low and well-balanced by the deep full-city roast. More on the "intense" side of the scale (as Lavazza puts it), it tolerates milk extremely well because its interesting and moderately complex profile is able to cut through the sweetness of the milk so well. Enjoyable and a great value for the money. I highly recommend latté lovers try this out. 2. January 2023, Super Crema: It's marketed as a medium roast with notes of hazelnut and brown or cane sugar. It's well known among the coffee shop community and I could instantly see why. It's a very well-balanced and inoffensive blend. Certainly another full-city roast, it's slightly earthy on the sip, and then nutty and slightly oaky on the finish. Here's the truth about this blend: It's hard to hate it or love it the same way few people hate or love a Toyota Corolla. It's just really good at doing the job for a fair price, and it does nothing that will surprise you. Enjoy it however you want, it's not bad at anything. It might actually remind you of a coffee you grabbed at a cafe lately. 3. February 2023, Crema E Aroma: It’s marketed as a medium roast with notes of chocolate. And if that was all you knew about this blend, you could almost write this review yourself. You can sum this coffee up in a few words: creamy, intense and chocolatey- a testament to the heavy proportion of robusta coffee beans in this blend. It’s also very rich and full of mouthfeel. Lavazza says it's made to be had with milk, but you still might find the espresso overpowering the dairy a bit. Lowering the dose helped me find a good balance between coffee and milk. Conclusion: Crema E Aroma fills a niche. Not all coffee needs to be delicate and complex. There’s absolutely a place for an intense, rich latté. Personally, I see it as more of a change-of-pace option for me rather than a daily driver. 4. If you found this review helpful, let me know and I'll keep adding to this as I try out more varieties from this brand.

Great tasting! Beginner friendly! Dial in those settings!!!
Machine: DeLonghi La Specialista Arte Evo Grind size: 3 Coffee In: 18g Water Out: 36g Time: 37 seconds Roast Date: Forgot to check xD This is my first coffee bean ever that I am making at home, and I gotta say, I am very happy with it. It took some dialing in for me, but I finally unlocked the honey-like crema! After getting the ground coffee, I use a WDT tool, tamper, and then purge the machine for about 5 seconds, then roast! Since this bean was my learning experience, I forgot to check the roast date, but I purchased it on June 26 and I'm still drinking it today, July 10, and it tastes amazing! Probably because I got my settings dialed in, but I'll be honest - my first 5-6 pulls were horrendous lmao. Now that it's dialed in, I'm super happy with it :) I'm not sure how strong it is, but since I do a double shot, I will assume it's anywhere between 120mg and 160mg caffeine. It doesn't make me feel too wired unless I have like 3 of them haha. The bean smells great, the shot has a little bitter bite to it with The value is great! I got it while it was on sale and I am super satisfied with it. Easily 5/5 for a beginner!

Perfect crema and rich flavor every time in my Philips 3300 espresso machine.
☕️ Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee – My Go-To Espresso Bean I've been using Lavazza Super Crema in my Philips 3300 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine, and I absolutely love it. I've tried quite a few different beans over the years, but I keep coming back to this one because the results are consistently excellent. Whether I'm making a strong espresso in the morning, a creamy cappuccino, a latte, or simply an Americano, the coffee always comes out smooth and delicious. The crema is rich and beautiful, and the flavor has a wonderful full body without being bitter or overpowering. It's well-balanced, easy to drink, and works perfectly in a fully automatic machine. If you're looking for a reliable espresso bean that produces café-quality drinks at home, I highly recommend Lavazza Super Crema. It has become a staple in my kitchen and one of those products I reorder again and again.

The Bean My Ninja Luxe Cafe Was Waiting For
I spent a long time searching for the right coffee bean that would work well with my Ninja Luxe Cafe, and the Lavazza Super Crema has been the answer I was looking for. After researching online forums and getting recommendations from friends who use the same machine, this blend kept coming up as a top suggestion. The combination of Arabica and Robusta beans is what I believe makes all the difference, as it pulls shots consistently and beautifully on the Ninja every single time. Several months and multiple bags in, I have not had a single disappointing pull. The freshness of every bag I have received has been exceptional without exception. The roast color is even and consistent, and the roast quality reflects the care that goes into this blend. It produces a full bodied, creamy cup with mild acidity that never feels harsh or bitter. Whether I am making espresso, an americano, or a flat white, the results are reliably excellent. The flavor profile is where this coffee truly shines and sets itself apart. It is smooth and approachable with distinct notes of hazelnut, brown sugar, and honey that come through clearly in every cup. Subtle undertones of almond round out the experience and give it a refined finish that feels far more premium than the price suggests. If you own a Ninja Luxe Cafe or any espresso style machine and are searching for a bean that delivers consistently, this is the one I would confidently point you toward.

From not impressed to impressed
This 1st bag (I bought 2 bags) idk.. the appearance of the beans are mismatch and deformed... Some light , some dark.. and, they have a burnt after smell, if you will... Eh, not great when I brew it too... I keep 3 different brand whole beans on hand all the time so, I can mix it up from day to day and, I find myself not reaching for this bean very often... Now, I have seen where others have experienced a "bad batch" ... I'm hoping this is the case because when I spend that kind of money I'm expecting greatness... Maybe the next bag will taste like what I'm accustomed to but, until then a 3 star rating... UPDATE:The more I drank this coffee, the more I appreciated the different notes in its taste... It's like no other bean I tasted so far. I love it! I'm almost finished my 1st bag. I will definitely be trying other Lavazza beans in the future

The reliable everyday bean — smooth, sweet crema, and it never disappoints
This has become my default bean, and that's the whole review really — it's the one I keep reordering. The flavour profile is what makes it work: smooth and mellow with a mild sweetness and notes of honey and almonds, low acidity, and none of the burnt bitterness that ruins so many supermarket beans. It's forgiving in a way that matters day to day — it doesn't punish you for a slightly-off grind or a rushed shot, and it tastes good across the board, whether that's espresso, a flat white, or something long. The crema is genuinely good — thick, persistent, and properly golden rather than the thin grey foam cheaper beans produce. That's the name on the bag and it earns it. The other reason to buy it is consistency. Bag after bag, it's the same coffee — no lottery, no bad batch, no wondering why today's tastes different. For an everyday bean that's worth more than chasing the perfect single origin. It's also freshly roasted and sensibly priced for the quality, particularly if you buy the larger bag. Bottom line: Smooth, sweet, forgiving, with excellent crema and rock-solid consistency. If you want one bean that always works, this is it. 5 stars.

High Value Roast, Especially If Crema Is your priority.
High-Value Roast, this coffee is a revelation in value. It consistently delivers a spectacular, velvety, generous crema with a decent micro-bubble structure that holds up well, whether pulled as a tight, concentrated ristretto or a longer lungo. While the official tasting notes label this blend as "mild," I'm not sure I agree. This is a wonderfully robust and full-bodied espresso. What makes it truly exceptional, however, is its balance. It offers a powerful, deeply resonant presence in the cup without the harsh, over-extracted bitterness that is often found in roasts of this intensity. I’m using it with the Philips self-grind machine and I’m thrilled to have replaced my Nespresso.
