Good Value, Good Product
WE USE BOXES AND BOXES OF THESE EACH YEAR. WE ALWAYS BUY GENUINE FESTOOL DOMINOES AND THEY ALWAYS FIT AS THEY SHOULD. THESE ARE JUST LOOSE TENONS SO THERE ISN'T MUCH TO GO WRONG, BUT IT CERTAINLY ISN'T WORTH HOLDING UP THE SHOP TO SAVE A COUPLE BUCKS TO FIND OUT THE GENERICS ARE JUST A TOUCH OFF. THESE ARRIVE QUICKLY, AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN CONSISTENT IN SIZE AND QUALITY. FESTOOL DOES A PRETTY GOOD JOB WITH THEIR VENDORS MAKING SURE YOU CAN PREDICT THE PRICING MONTH TO MONTH, REGARDLESS OF WHERE YOU BUY THEM.

Great product, I used several hundred of these on my last project and I’ve got to say it was a lot of fun. Makes for a solid joint, I’m looking forward to my next project and my new Festool Domino machine will be put to good use.

They're Festool OEM Dominos, so you know that they are legit.
They're Festool dominos. Enough said. Festool stuff is expensive but you know what you are getting when buying the brand. It's also nice to know that their prices are regulated across all of their vendors, so you always know that you are getting the best/same deal as everyone else and not missing out on a deal somewhere.

Worth the money
I wish I had the time and energy to make my own tenons to use with my domino joiner. But I don't. These fit perfect every time, are delivered fast, and if used with the proper amount of glue, are super strong. Buy them in bulk, better price and you will be more likely to turn to this tool which is never a mistake. I use a small paint brush to apply glue in the mortise and on the tenon. Much better technique to lightly cover all surfaces to be glued than to just squeeze the glue in the mortise and hope that it will cover well.

Festool wood tenons
These are tenons used with the Festool Domino 500 mortise cutter. They are much easier than making your own to fit the mortises cut by the machine. The tenons are very strong, consistent in size and easy to use. They make great joints in wood, usable for furniture, jigs and many other applications. Much stronger and more precise than biscuits. These are replacements for the first batch I bought with the machine, which I have almost used up.

Essential if you own a festool domino tool
I found you must take moisture ( humidity ) steps to keep these from swelling and not fitting. I open the bag and pour them into a Rubbermaid container that seals. That works great and keeps them in one place. I have found that sometimes you must run the sides over a sanding block a couple swipes to make them slide in the slot when you dry fit the parts to check fit. Otherwise you will have trouble getting them back out to install glue. I would like to see the flat sides indents to be deeper for better glue up. It's easier than making my own tenons also, and better than biscuits. This tool has made mortise and tenons so easier and fast. What more can I say?
