47/54/62/68 Inch UV Protection Golf Umbrella Oversized Sun Umbrella

You might get HBO with this shade! :). I have had it for years now. It is huge like a satellite dish and absolutely blocks the sun, is 10 degrees cooler underneath and is sturdy even in very strong wind. You have to be careful who is behind you as it does reflect light and can be pretty bright in the eyes of people behind you. I am ordering the smaller version just so it doesn’t take up so much room while sitting on the sidelines during soccer games.

It is fantastic as far as sun repellant! My previous umbrella was just a rain umbrella, so when I was using it to protect me from the sun it was still hot underneath. This is just what I wanted and works great as I described. However, once I got it, I realized that I did not know what I really needed. This is too big. I just didn't realize what that means. I wanted to use it on my golf caddy (electric cart that carries only your clubs). However, the size that I ordered just overwhelms the cart because of its weight combined with the leverage added by its extension. So, I carry it most of the time and just park it on the cart when I'm hitting the ball.

So far good. Used it couple of times in the sun. Felt cooler and comfortable under the umbrella. Sturdy enough to withstand the wind. Easy to fold and the button to open is an awesome feature.

Thick fabric feels kind of weird, like it might get mushy in the sun, but it actually felt and acted better when out in the sun. Nice sun blocking. It opens easily, had to pull down from the top center to close the one I got. I returned it so I am not sure about wind and rain function. I found having 2 wrap-around Velcro closures helpful, one towards the top and the other midway to bottom makes it easier to store and fir back into it's slim self-fabric case. The handle bottom is made with a spongy comfort fabric for a better grasp. Quality seems good according to price a good value. ISSUE is advert says for golf, I wanted one to attach to a cart pole, the handle precludes that and also the handle could be a bit longer it would help. Yet al in al it is nice, does an effective sun blocking job, and is pretty even is space-shiny! I'd say use it for outdoor walks in hot, sunny places.

Good coverage. It's a bit heavy to hold one handed. I'm currently just out of a cast and in a brace so it's an awkward hold. I plan on using this during recess to block the sun. It seems good quality so I expect it will hold up well this school year. The button was an easy open. It was more difficult to close it at the beginning of my cast wearing.

Love it! works great for eccentric me! I don't like to use sunscreen and when I take my dogs to the off leash park, it blocks the sun AND creates shade! Many people say "good idea" as they are sweating. I wish more people in the US used these for the sun so I didn't stick out like a sore thumb!

This umbrella is such a great find! I'm not a huge fan of the sun and with toddlers in the summer, I was dreading having to always find shade in order to stay outside and get their energy out. This umbrella is so much bigger then I expected! So it's not as portable, but it does fold up well and thin. This easily fits my family underneath with no problem. Its sturdy, easy to fold open and close, and has withstood the toddler play so far! I have high hopes this will be a lifesaver for me this summer.

I'll try to update this review many months from now with a follow up but so far, very good! Coincidently enough, this arrived on a rain-all-day kinda day. I only wish it was a few hours earlier when I had to stand outside during my daughter's soccer game in a downpour - I REALLY needed it then. But alas, it rained all day so decent testing was still done with some fair 15Mph winds. So far, I love the umbrella. It had a very minimal "plastic/chemical" odor, but it was not obvious or overpowering...I only smelled it when I tried to get close...which is odd by itself...why am I smelling my new umbrella??? Oh, because some reviews mentioned it, that's why. Real talk, it was very minimal and barely noticeable up close...not at all out in the wild. Build quality - seems to be on the stronger side. Everything feels firm and of quality construction. The support structure, fabric, and handle all feel solid. I like the double strap design and the cover is a nice bonus. It opens fast and closing is still very easy, even though that part isn't button actuated. Water resistance - yep - didn't get wet...no tears in the fabric; the water rolled off and dried off quickly in just a few minutes. Size - 68" is very comfortable and can keep 2-3 people (walking) and 3-4 (standing) covered very well. Weight - standard or low for the size it covers. Balance - since its the model I bought (68") is a bit on the bigger side, it requires a little more effort to keep it in a good position to cover more than one person, but overall feels just fine. But that's just something you have to expect with a 68" size - the larger sail you have, the more you'll have to handle it in the wind. However, the good build quality made it feel like it was never going to give way or break. Wind resistance - the built-in vents did a very good job keeping the umbrella from trying to invert itself or fly away. I feel like the construction would require 45+ Mph winds to possibly damage it, and in that case, why are you even outside? It feels sturdy and strong enough to withstand a storm you'd be willing to stand in. UV protection - yet to be determined, but I can tell by the fabric and material construction choice it's VERY likely to do great. The reflective texture and solid barrier should give the sun a good fight! Overall, I'm very happy with the product built by G4Free so far. Very well done!

This umbrella was a replacement for a lovely golf umbrella I had that sadly got stolen. I searched for a windproof one as it really annoys me when umbrellas blow inside out when it's windy & rainy. I also wanted one that could be used as a sunshade as my skin is extra sensitive after suffering 2nd degree burns and post chemotherapy. I also chose this one because I loved the mint/greeny-blue colour (actually called Lake Blue) on the inside and the good reflective silver on the outside. The inside colour is a happy colour for me so cheers me up on dark rainy days! I must say, when it arrived I was surprised how big it was - it's huge! You could easily fit 2 or 3 people underneath it! It's been well and truly tested in the rain and is marvelous - kept me very dry. It has a flap - like a little extra umbrella at the top to make it windproof & I was worried rain might leak through but thankfully it was completely water-tight. I haven't really tested it properly in the strong wind yet - so will come back to this after that event has occurred. The 2nd photo only shows about ¼ of the umbrella, just to give you an idea of size. I had it on that side of me because that was the direction the wind was blowing the rain from. Sorry it doesn't show it all, it's all I've got at the moment. If I can add some more pictures later I will... 😊 When folded up I used it as a walking stick, but at 5'5" it was very tall for me - I think it would be a good size walking stick for a 6' person! As a sunshade it was perfect too and gave very good coverage. It would be ideal as a sunshade on the beach or when out for a picnic. I purchased it just before a music festival weekend I went to. I clamped it onto a hired mobility scooter to keep both the rain and the sun off me. Although it gave me good coverage it was a bit big for that in a crowded place. The part of the handle that you hold is soft grip which is great on the hands but not so good for a small clamp. My daughter walked beside me when I was in the motability scooter and it was big enough for her to be able to hold it over both of us. In crowded places, when there's just one underneath, the umbrella is so big it's a bit of a liability - I was constantly aware that someone might get caught by it. I think if I were a tall person, or not in a mobility scooter, that wouldn't have bothered me so much as it would be above most people's heads! It's perfect when there's not crowds though - and people certainly see you coming! It comes complete with a silver case that has a strap so you can carry it over your shoulder when not in use, which is really handy. I'm very pleased with this umbrella and hope it lasts me a long time. ☔️☂️⛱️🌂
