Excellent pain relief and no dangerous leads in the way!
I don't write a lot of reviews so when I do, it means I am really enjoying the product I'm using. This TENS unit is great - as the top review from the Harvard physician put it, most importantly, it is inconspicuous, and there are no dangerous leads to get in the way of going about your daily responsibilities. However, I've also found that the pain relief is superior to other TENS units I've used. I would really recommend this if you're living with any type of pain (for me, right now, sciatica). I bought the version that connects to your phone, which in my opinion was worth the extra money due to convenience (and if you are phone saavy, though the app is extremely easy to use). I really appreciate anything to relieve pain and am so grateful for this product :)

Good Product Overall
I like this product and am actually using it right now. It is great for pain relief, and it holds a charge for a long time. It is easy to recharge, and simple to use. The adhesion has been good so far over quite a bit of use. The only thing negative I have to say is that switching between modes is really annoying and more difficult than it should be. You have to hold down the + for a few seconds to switch to the next mode, and there are over 6 modes. I like the #6 mode the most, and that means I have to press and hold the + symbol, 5 different times for a few seconds each. It also beeps once for each mode, so lots and lots of beeping. That being said, I still recommend the product as it does the intended job well.

Versatile product for pleasant stimulation
I bought this device about a month ago, on the recommendation of a physician-friend who uses it mainly on her back and neck. I've had a bad bout with sciatica in the past, which has began flaring up again moderately this summer. The pain starts in my lower back, runs down my left rear and down my leg, in worse cases. I've been attaching the device right above my tail-bone and turning it on at medium intensity. While the issue does not seem totally cured yet, my back has improved and the stimulation certainly feels pleasant. My son is a serious runner and said this device is used often in PT. He suggested I try the stimulator on my arthritic knees. I frequently wake up during the night with knee pain. So, before bedtime, I've attached the stimulator to the meniscus area where the pain mostly occurs. Again, not a complete cure yet, but feels good and definitely a help. I will continue to experiment with the device on where to use it, the intensity level of the stimulation and for how long. The device has been easy to use with its phone app. Seal the device pad to the desired area, turn it on, a couple quick steps on the app and you are ready to go. I've probably used the device 20 times in the month I've had it. Only needed to recharge it once so far and was given a clear warning that power was low. I bought extra pads, but the original is still fine. After use, you secure the device pad back to a protective film and can store in a sealed bag. I feel this device is well-worth the money and I expect to get much good use from it.

LIFE SAVING!!
Update Oct 2025: The battery life on these devices have changed for the worst. Very unfortunate. I’ve been using these for over 9 years and so disappointed. I’ve gone through 2 & gifted one to my mom & they didn’t last us longer than 2 days. I used to keep one for over a year. I will no longer be purchasing. Review from 2022: I could not live with out these! I can clean house, drive, garden & even went to concert with one. I literally would be bed ridden or on pain pills if i was not on this device & flexerol. It’s easy to reach around and turn on and off for back pain. Start off low and slow…do not up it quickly. Obviously, if you sweat a lot the sticky pads will loose its sticky. Pro tip; I keep older one on hand that i wear when i know it is going to loose its sticky due to weather or activity level. Also, great for muscle stimulation. My doctor even told me i could even use this for constipation by placing on tummy to stimulate flow. I recommend these so much to friends, family & strangers. I’ve been thanked many times.

Isn’t Worth It Because Of Pad’s Lifespan
The device itself works well. I had read reviews complaining about the battery life, but I haven’t experienced any problems. You can choose for it to run for 10-60 minutes, increasing in 10 minute increments. When I’ve used it for an hour on a full charge, I typically throw it on the charger. I don’t think an hour is anywhere near how long the battery will last, though, since it’ll charge for maybe 20 minutes (0-100% battery takes 2 hours). I like the range of settings and intensity level. I love that it’s cordless since I can keep going about my day and moving around. The only gripe I have about the cordless feature is that it means there is a hard device in the area you put it. This is annoying for me since I use it on my mid-back a lot and having the device there means I can’t lean back if I’m sitting. I didn’t deduct any stars for this since it’s just an inconvenience that can be easily solved (e.g. go for a walk, laying on your side or stomach). I deducted two stars because of the electrode pad’s poor durability. In the quick reference manual, it says that it should last about 30 cycles. It also notes that you should not let it come in contact with water, whereas the complete manual says you can wipe it with a damp cloth from time to time. Every single time I have used this machine, I have wiped off the areas I’m applying it to with a wet rag and completely dried myself. I’ve also only ever touched the top of the pad (non-stick area), and I always place it on the protective plastic piece when not in use. Because it says to never let it come in contact with water on the quick reference, I’ve never cleaned the pad itself. I’ve used it 15 times thus far, and it’s started to fall off during treatment. I think this is really disappointing. I’ve been using it two times every day, so one pad lasts me about 2 weeks. At this time, replacement pads are available in a 4-pack for a little over $16. I think that’s pretty expensive when considering the actual lifespan of the pad. Big question: would I buy again? No. I bought it since it was recommended to be me by my PT. Looking at other devices, specifically those with cords, you get way more pads that still last for several uses and replacements are half the price for 5x the quantity. It’s nice for on the go, but it’s not budget friendly in the slightest. For that reason, I’m looking into returning it.

Portable relief
Wow! I bought this when I was in rehab for a back injury. It was much stronger than I thought it would be. The portability is perfect. Battery lasts a long time. It’s quiet and discreet. Replacement pads are a little pricey, but worth it. Option to control from an app is much easier than using the buttons on the device, at least for me.

Worked for one charge and then quit
I was excited about getting this unit to help with my shoulder and back nerve pain. I charged it on arrival and followed all instructions to set up with Bluetooth and it worked very well until I needed to re-charge it the next day.... After that it was re-charged, it wouldn't connect to BT again, no matter what I tried. I could confirm if it had actually re-charged, either, and I think that might be the issue. I contacted Customer Service by email and they responded very quickly and sent me a replacement immediately. Excellent Customer Service!!!! Unfortunately, the replacement did the exact same thing... Altho I was able to get it to work an extra day longer. But the same thing happened. I have since ordered another brand for just a bit more $, and it is working very well, altho not thru Bluetooth.
