Fantastic product, great for the environment and saves money!
I love my ECO balls and have been using them for around 5 years now. They wash my clothes really well and the only thing I find they struggle with is cooking fats or oils. The stain remover does the job thou! These refills are a great idea and I have saved a fortune over the years. Your washing does have no smell to it, So i pop a couple of drops of lavender or lemon essential oil in the washing powder draw of my machine to give everything a super smell!

Better than washing powder
I have been using this product for a few years now It is much cheaper and more convenient than using washing powder which sticks in the washing machine tray and does not dissolve

Cheap as chips, work well too
I've had an Ecoball for years. Last time I refilled it I used a cheaper brand and it didn't clean so well. These genuine refill are much better. They come in 6 mini packs per box. It's two bags to totally refill each ball, so you could just add one bag to your old Ecoballs if they aren't completely dead. I don't use Ecoballs for all washes - some things like the dogs bed or muddy rugby kit - still require laundry powder instead. That said, these can save you a flipping fortune.

Great but nowhere near 1000 washes
I love ecoballs as they work really well, the refills are easy to change. My issue with them is that they last nowhere near 1000 washes, more like 500 if im lucky. We have to replace every 6 months and do a maximum of 2 loads a day - well you do the maths!

Ecoballs
Excellent product, I have been using these ecoballs for 4 years now and can thoroughly recommend their use. They are good for the environment, no washing powder required, they are so much cheaper then regular washing products, good for skin problems like eczema. I also normally use the cold wash programme, more savings and since they contain no detergent it is also possible to do without the rinse cycles. One point is, you need to remove the washing from the machine quickly after it is finished as it can start to smell, a very minor minus.

These are now 90% WHITE SOAP PELLETS - no good if you have soap/detergent allergies.
I've been using these for 15 yrs - the original Ecozone pellets were little stones, they worked very well. I trialled plain water and sodium bicarb as well for laundry and the Ecozone balls won out easily. Several years ago they changed to 50% white soap pellets. The white soap pellets made me itch just as detergent does, so I discarded them, I still thought these were worth buying as the stone pellets last ages. Now they are 90% white soap pellets which not only dissolve pretty quickly, but if you bought these due to allergy to soap you will be paying an enormous price for a few stone pellets and be forced to throw the 90% of the white soap ones away. Smells like profiteering. I suggest getting tourmaline (stone pellets) direct from Eco Egg site, much cheaper. Can't find them here.

Good wash
These are a very economical way to wash. I don't tend to have extremely messy washing but the addition of a stain remover or soda crystals usually does the job. My washing machine has a musty smell that I am in the process of getting rid of and since these balls are unscented the smell can transfer. I have some of the Method fabric conditioner that a use a small amount with and the smell remains on the clothes and the ball still washes.

brilliant cleaning!
i've used eco balls for over 8 years now. they are fabulous. we first used them as on of our boys has a perfume allergy. but, clothes are always naturally softer and they are as clean as using fairy non bio as i did a test on a few loads of laundry. brilliant product using basic science - if you use and trust soap to clean your hands then you can use and trust eco balls as they use the same cleaning methods!
