Menicon Unique pH Multi-Purpose Contact Lens Solution With Lens Case (4 Fluid Ounces)

I absolutely LOVE this cleaner. I use to use well-known companies cleaners for my RGP lenses. I have severe dry eyes, and it was just painful when I wear my lenses extended time. Since I started use Menicon cleaner, My eyes are so much better. No pain from dryness, don't haze on the lenses, just comfortable all day. Many of you in US never heard of Menicon, but I grew up in Japan, and this company has been reputable for many many years. You use this bottle for cleaning, and restore as disinfectant. VERY much recommend!

This is the best contact lens solution I have ever tried by a mile. I used to wear standard gas permeable (hard) contact lenses and always used pH over Boston since it was so much more comfortable. It kept my eyes from feeling dry, and they were almost never itchy, which was a big problem I had with all the Boston solutions. Recently, I switched to hybrid contacts, which have a hard GP lens in the middle that is suspended over my cornea (it doesn't touch it) and then a soft (silicone hydrogel) outer part that actually rests on my eye. I love these contacts since they are so much more comfortable, while still giving me good vision (I have irregular astigmatism). Anyway, when I started with hybrid contacts, I was given a completely different solution to use while wearing them, made by Alcon. With that solution, my eyes would get very dry and uncomfortable after just a few hours. So I tried using pH again, and now I can't even tell that anything is in my eyes; pH just makes hard (and hybrid) contacts so comfortable for me. Long story short, I highly recommend this contact lens solution to anyone, especially if you experience some of the same issues I do with other solutions. This is truly the best lens solution I have ever used.

The viscosity is different and advantageous. I noticed the difference immediately -- much better than other products I've tried, and it was particularly effective when I lost a lens and had to quickly prep a backup lens. I soaked the backup lens for a mere hour -- it slid into my eye without irritation and remained irritation-free. Yes, this is observational, I cannot offer scientific evidence because I have none. By my experience, the product works better and faster and I will buy it again.

The family member who uses this product says it works really well, and it's non-irritating, which is great. For that alone I'd give 5 stars. So, why did I give it 4 stars? First off - Menicon (the maker) only sells this in 4oz or smaller bottles. It seems like such a waste! For as much as we use, I'd much prefer if this came in larger bottles. Secondly, each bottle comes with a contact lens case. There's no way we need this many contact cases. I find this to be a waste. I really wish they'd offer an option that didn't come with an extra lens case.

Works better than Boston for RGP lenses.

This is the only solution I use for my Scleral lenses that my corneal specialist recommended. It cleans my lenses very well and I highly encourage to try if you have tried other brands and are left with cloudy vision, this solution will not cause any cloudy vision
