Glass Teapot and Tea Set (42 oz Jasmine Leaf)

I so love this beautifully designed teapot asit makes the tea look beautiful. This company is wonderful to deal with too. There was a mix up on the order and another tea was included. It was quickly replaced with two emails by their customer service. The green tea is very floral and lovely to sip.

This teapot is just beautiful! The no drip spout actually works just like it is suppose to and the arc of the tea being pored is so graceful and lovely. The design of the pot is gorgeous. The only complaint I have is the same as so many other people here and that is the lid is not very secure. In fact it is quite loose so you need to make sure that you hold down the lid while poring. If this could be fixed then this pot would be perfect.

I'm very disappointed.. The cover arrived cracked and it was NOT a 42 oz teapot! It is tiny!!! It holds max 16 oz...I'm going to return it...

I haven't used this teapot yet, but I can see good and not so good in it. First, the not so good. The top only fits the infuser, so if you want to remove the infused tea in order to stop the infusing you have to have a teapot with no lid. The inconvenience of this is obvious. Heated tea water starts to drop in temperature from the moment you shut if off in the kettle, unless you have a temperature controlled electric kettle that keeps the water at a consistent temperature at all times. In the teapot and in the cup the temperature drops even more. The thing I like about this pot, aside from the beauty of design is the clear class it is made with. The color of tea is one of the more important aspects of tea drinking along with smell and taste. Perhaps I protest too much and leaving the infuser in the pot to continue to infuse for the second cup is quite alright. Or, if you use all of the infused tea in a single pour with guests it is of little consequence. I guess it depends upon who the pot is being used by.

The teapot is lovely. Looks as described....only prettier! The tea that came with it? uhm, not so much! That tea was awful!Still gets 5 stars, because it's not the pots fault the tea sucked!

I like it alot. It keeps the tea warm for a very long time. Only thing is that it is fragile on the handle,.

I bought this as a gift for my mother. The first time she used it the heat cracked it. So she never got to use it.

Pot was a bit smaller than I expected, but I like it anyway...better than tea bags.
