Kutsuwa STAD Shitajiki B5 Size VS010BL Blue

I never used a pencil board before and now I can't imagine writing without it. Makes writing in my composition book so much easier, especially as I near the middle of the book. Great for fountain pens. Love that it fits exactly inside and can be carried at all times. Also, it is clear blue and not opaque. I don't mind, but something to consider as the photo doesn't demonstrate that.

So, I actually bought this not as a pencil board but to replace the worn out surface on my tablet. Wacom no longer makes the replacement screens for my model. Honestly it worked perfectly. The thickness was pretty close to the same but I suppose for those that like a more paper-like finish on their surface it wouldn't do. I actually prefer the smoother more plastic like finish. For some reason my hand rubbing on certain paper textures drives me nuts. I know. I'm very weird. My pen strokes are now so smooth and sleek compared to my old surface lol. It is transparent but for my purpose it didn't really matter. Also if I do decide I want a paper like surface I can just use my paper overlays.It was certainly a lot cheeper than trying to find a new surface from a seller in uk that's charging $100 my currency for $20 (msrp) sheet. In fact I was actually surprised to find shitajiki boards in the US that don't cost $20 or more much less for under $5. So thank you for that! Some people here seem to think that a thin sheet of plastic is worth gold especially if they put anime characters on it. Retail in Japan, even the popular anime ones don't go for much more than $5usd equivalent.

No real problems, seems sturdy enough while remaining thin, and the blue prevents/obscures ghosting. It’s cut to B5 size, which was my big requirement.It doesn’t have any features like a printed grid or lines for writing or layout, which make it seem expensive for product received.

Could I have found some thick plastic and made this? Yes. For cheaper? Maybe. But I'd still have had to find the plastic and cut it to size. This wasn't that expensive, is nicely made, and I didn't have to put in all that effort. It is what it is. A stable writing surface that can be moved and placed inside a B5 notebook. I bought it to use with my B5 Kokuyo Campus 350 notebook and it's working wonderfully. I also use it as a ruler and in this capacity it reaches the full length of the B5 pages. I had previously been carrying around a 6 inch ruler that simply did not reach the full length of the page, but I didn't really have room to carry around a full 12 inch ruler. With this, I can have a pencil board and a ruler without the extra bulk. Mine came with a few scuffs, but I have since but so many more on it that it really doesn't matter. I keep things as nice as I can, but accept that sometimes, the flaws are what gives it its character. And, if the scuffs ever really start to bother me, I'll just cover it in contact paper and move on. No big deal. The shipping did take quite a while, to the point that I almost thought it had been lost, but it did finally show up. That seems to be the case with most things shipping free from Japan, so no harm no foul there either.

I wish I could find one of these the size of my planner, I need one for my travel journal as well as I use this all the time to get a nice smooth surface to letter on~~!!** This is a fairly hard plastic and would break if bent to much, which makes it a perfectly smooth surface to write on when you put it under the page your lettering or writing on~!!*** I will definitely purchase this again and hope to find the other sizes soon~~!!**

Shipping was fast. This product is a it pricey for what it is though. It person it's a transparent sheet of blue plastic about (but less than) the thickness of a credit card. Not super flexible. This is a B5 size which is (approximately) the size of the space in sheet of college ruled paper minus the margins on the left side and minus the thicker line of space above the main set of lines. Otherwise the product comes exactly as pictured. The issue I had with the product is that it came with many scratches on it which are clearly visible.

確かに、商品画面を見ると普通の水色に見えますよね。これは透明な水色です。私は透明と知りながら購入しているので問題ないのですが、ただの水色を希望している場合にはご注意ください。商品自体は全く問題ないので☆５つです。

入学から２年生の今まで使用しています(男子）。シンプルで、欠けや割れは無く、とても丈夫で、愛用させて頂いてます。間違いないです。

子供の入学準備に用意しました。色も写真のままで良かったです。
