Perfect Space-Saving Organizer for Any Home Gym! I couldn’t be happier with my Marcy 6-Peg Olympic Weight Plate Tree and Vertical Bar Holder (PT-5757)! This rack is incredibly sturdy and does an excellent job keeping my home gym organized. The six pegs easily hold all my Olympic plates—up to 300 pounds—without taking up much space at all. I especially love the vertical bar holder in the center, which keeps my Olympic bar perfectly secure and out of the way. Assembly was simple, the build quality feels rock solid, and everything looks neat and professional. It’s amazing how much cleaner and more efficient my workout area feels now. If you’re looking for a reliable, space-saving storage solution for your plates and bar, this is a must-have. Highly recommend! 💪

Great quality. Very sturdy and heavy duty. Assembly took roughly 2 hours for a me (as a female). Assembly Tips: - Step 1 Portion: Use a ratcheting screwdriver instead of the tool that comes included - Step 2 Portion: The wheel brackets were difficult to get attached to the main frame. I had to hammer the frame in to get it flushed and have the holes lineup. - Step 3 Portion: Use a flash light to line up holes of the 3 poles to the main frame. I saw a comment that the pole covers, where the weight sits on, slide off. Make sure to tighten the covers to the metal frames as seen in my photo.

I purchased this rack from an obviously well known comany in this field because I rightfully thought it will be well made. The metal used was robust. The paint finish is quality. The casters are very heavy duty and facilitates movement of the loaded rack in a relatively easy manner. A positive feature not found in some other weight racks is that you can store both 1" and 2" plates by simply removing the plastic sleeves to expose the smaller diameter metal rods. The rack was very well packaged, no damage or missing parts' and the instructions were clear. Two Allen wrenches were supplied. You do need a pair of adjustable wrenches or metric fixed sized wrenches. A metric socket set would significantly speed the assembly. The rack was a good value for the price point. I has to use sand paper and sand a few tubes down to fit properly. 4. Stability: Many users report that it remains stable and balanced even when loaded unevenly or to its maximum capacity. 5. Affordability: Compared to other similar weight storage solutions, it’s priced reasonably and offers good value for the quality. 6. Easy to Assemble: Assembly is straightforward. I had it together in about 15 minutes. Cons: 1. Limited Storage for Larger Plates: You won’t get 6 Olympic size bumpers to fit on this unit even though 6 posts are included. The two top posts end up being unusable. I did have a set of 2.5 and 5 lbs bumpers that I was able to place there but that left the larger 15 and 55 lbs plates with no place to go. 2. No Wheels: It’s not easily portable, and moving it around could be a hassle, especially once loaded with weights. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for me so no points deducted. Something you might consider in your purchase though. 3. Tight fit. Hard or impossible to slide umpers on and off without sanding down the tubes. The problem wasn’t uniform and leads me to believe it’s an issue with paint being applied in a non-uniform manner. 3. Barbell Storage: No dedicated storage for barbells, which could be a downside if you’re looking for an all-in-one storage solution. Again, no points deducted, just personal preference. Verdict: For a reasonably priced, sturdy, and compact weight tree, the Marcy Olympic Weight Tree is a decent choice. It does what it’s designed to do, kinda.—organize and store weights effectively—and offers good value for those building out a home gym. However, if you're looking for a model with more versatility (such as storing more than four sets of large bumpers, or Barbells, this probably isn’t for you

It's really heavy duty, nicely painted, and makes fetching and storing weight plates a breeze. You can store 1" or 2" weight plates by using or not using the 2" heavy duty plastic weight plate sleeve adaptors. There are 6 of them. The 6 weight plate arms are ideal as the set of colored Olympic 2" weight plates I'm going to accumulate come in 6 weights. I'll be getting 2 weight plates each of 10 lbs, 15 lbs, 25 lbs, 35 lbs, 45 lbs, and 55 lbs, so one set of 2 plates at each weight for each arm on the storage rack. Two minor complaints: The washers labeled #17 had a bit of surface rust but since they are zinc coated, I'm not sure where the rust came from. And they accidentally gave me a #17 washer instead of the needed #16 washer, so I was short one #16 washer. I just did that nut & bolt without a washer rather than head out to the hardware store for one washer+. I will help you learn from a mistake I made. I tightened all the nuts & bolts up at the very top of the rack BEFORE I but my 45 lbs Olympic barbell in the barbell holder sleeve so I had to use force getting it in and out to put it up and take it out. I used leverage to force it into alignment to make that easier, but you'd do better to tighten up the top nuts & bolts on the weight plate rack LAST with the 45 lbs Olympic barbell put away in the barbell holder so you can line it up just right for yourself. Otherwise, it was very easy to put together, it took about an hour. I'm thankful I don't need to buy no more weightlifting equipment until next fall when I add the 3 heavier sets of Olympic plates, this equipment adds up.

This Marcy Olympic weight tree is of good gauge of steel and holds more weight than advertised in a comfortable safe manner. Another good product from Marcy.

Another win for Marcy brand weight racks. Sleek and simple design, sturdy and low profile. Hardware is designed to withstand pressure of the weights over time and will not shift. Very happy with this purchase and arrived timely. Thank you! ps. This model rack is for plates that vary in weight/width, ex. 45s, 35s, 25s, 10s, 5s, so you can stagger them.

Very quick and easy to put together, did it by myself in about 20-30 mins. I used a socket wrench, it definitely would have been faster with a drill. So far it’s holding up well, I may change the casters in the future for ones with brakes. I have a textured garage floor, so it doesn’t roll off easily, but getting it around is not a challenge. I’m storing more than 300lbs total on it and it hasn’t fallen apart yet. Including the barbell, it’s about 323lbs. I plan to add an EZ bar as well, so I’m hoping it’ll be up to the task. I’ll update this review if anything bad happens! One thing to mention is that the barbell sleeves are a bit large. This makes it easier to put them away, but the bar leans a bit to the side when stored. Not a huge deal for me, may bother some people though.

Really solid item. Great at stacking, we have around 150kg an 200kg if you position it right. Holds one barbell an takes up little space

Assembled this unit today and am very happy with it as it was easy to assemble and seems very sturdy/ I was a bit worried when the shipping box was so light but the prismatic construction provides great support. I was surprised that it could hold full diameter plates on both the top and bottom rungs. The removable Olympic sleeves are a nice feature if you only have standard weights. This unit immediately freed up a lot of space in our garage gym.
