Is this brush just meant for exfoliating. Or can it be used to clean the face and prevent acne??

Yes! It exfoliates. Your face will feel very smooth after using it. I would recommend you acclimate to it, meaning just start off using it once or twice a week. It may be a bit rough depending on your skin type. If you have a proper moisturizer, then you should apply that after using it. When you get more used to it, it starts to show results. It has done more for getting rid of my acne scars rather than preventing acne. The only things that have shown to prevent acne are your face washing habits and diet (water + ACV = very helpful as a toner). I have moderately bad acne and flare ups in areas like my jaw line, neck, and temples +forehead, but scars have lightened after a couple weeks of use. Hope this helps.

it’s a bit of a struggle, but if you can use a lever to get into the seam where it opens up, you can use it to pry the cover off

It’s not bad for the price. I need to move it in circles to make it work better as the two speeds are a bit slow than I expected. The bristles on the 3 soft brush heads feel a bit too soft. Over all can’t complain. NOTE : Definitely not water proof so do not wet the the main part of this product. Only wet the bristles when using. Did it work? Face feels so clean and soft like baby’s skin😁
