great product + great price + great customer service = MUST BUY!
Had a large media center that I had to replace because my 36" tube TV finally gave up the ghost and no decent size LCD would fit. No matter. There are a thousand TV stands out there that will hold large screen TV's. The only problem is, as I found out, most would not hold all my AV equipment. In particular, my over sized center channel speaker which is over 18" wide and 9" tall. A big boy for sure. Add to the fact that my house is decorated in blacks and didn't want a brown TV stand. I searched through literally 1000's of stands on line and nothing worked. Most couldn't accommodate such a large center channel speaker (and if it could there wasn't enough room for the receiver, cable box, blue ray etc.) and even the few I found that could were the wrong color. I was about to give up when I cam across Sonax. To my excitement, I found it not only could accommodate this large center channel speaker and all my other equipment with storage room to boot, but was also the perfect color and to top it off CHEAP! I was looking at units twice the price and they didn't meet my needs. I ordered immediately. UPS dropped it off a few days later and I didn't realize until I was putting it together that the top piece had been damaged slightly. I looked at the box and it too had damage. I emailed about the damage and received some of the best customer service I've ever had. They shipped out a replacement top piece at no charge to me whatsoever and it came quickly. Even though it was clearly a shipping problem, they stood behind the product and resolve extremely promptly and to my complete satisfaction. I can't say enough about how that makes me feel about Sonax as a company. I have had things arrived damaged before from other manufacturers and got the run around and often left in my hands to resolve with UPS myself but Sonax really stepped up here. Other things I'll note is that this was one of the easiest pieces of furniture to put together that I have ever done. Crystal clear instructions, simple to follow, and easy for a single person to put together by themselves and this was a fairly large stand. I was probably done in 10 minutes or so. It also included a few extra assembly pieces (like a shelve holders) so nice to know if I ever lose one I have a spare. But all that aside - IT LOOKS FANTASTIC! Really sets off my room and my new TV looks great on it! I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I can't recommend Sonax enough for the reasons I stated in the title!

Worth every dollar.
We're getting a new TV (55" Plasma) and needed a new (errr, actual) component-hiding tv stand. I searched website after website and was having extreme difficulty in finding one that met all my requirements and for a fair price. I was at RacksAndStands(dotcom) and found one in their "Sale" section under the brand "dCor". Came to Amazon and couldn't find it by name. Checked actual item number (E-0062-BF) and low and behold here it is! They offered it for 199 + free shipping but it would take a few extra days so I ordered it via Amazon for same price with free 2-day Prime shipping. It arrived in a Sonax box so I'm assuming Sonax is the actual brand, perhaps dCor is a sister company. Sonax did an outstanding job packaging this stand, everything was tight, secure and protected. I open the box today to put her together and - what's this? Metal hardware?! Nice! I took my time putting it together and this thing is attractive and functional. Very solid especially considering the particle boards. The smoked glass goes well with the black "grain" and it helps hide unused components. Predrilled holes were right on the mark. Extremely easy putting this together. We've got the cable box, audio receiver, xbox 360 and playstation 3 in there leaving two more nooks for the peripherals for the two systems. Outstanding item. Knowing ahead of time this was particle board I rate this a five out of five. The only thing I'd improve on is using actual wood. If the need arises in the future I can just purchase wood and build a similar/matching one using the same hardware and glass doors. Considering similar functioning tv stands are closer to the $500+ price range I really did get a lot for the price. If you want a solid bench to hide multiple components that won't break the bank and still looks attractive, this is one worth your consideration. *EDIT 7/5/12* ~Photos added showing measurements and backing cutouts, as requested. ~I'd like to add to my review is that the three shelves are not affixed: they can slide forward or all the way back which I found useful for my deep receiver and incoming cables. ~Remotes and controllers for Xbox 360, PS3, and Time Warner digital cable box work perfectly through the tinted glass doors.

Good Value, Looks Nice, But Could Be Improved
Pros: Looks good, strong and sturdy, very affordable Cons: Shorter and shallower than the pictures elude, no pathways for cables Ease of Assembly: The hardest part of assembling the entertainment center was opening the box. From what I experienced, I envision this as a new event in a strongman competition. The commercial strength construction adhesive used to secure the flaps was significantly stronger than the cardboard itself, which itself is thick and inflexible (excellent for security and protection, but frustrating if you want whats inside). One may find it easier to cut the box rather than attempting to pry the flaps open. Exhausted from opening the box, I was finally able to retrieve the parts and lay them out. Although the instructions refer to parts as A, B, C, etc., the parts themselves are not labeled. However, given the simplicity of the design, the pieces are easily identifiable by comparing them to the pictures in the instructions. Assembly was fairly quick with the aid of an electric screwdriver, took about 30 minutes from start to finish. Build Quality: The compressed fiberboard used for this unit is typical of most DIY furniture. The veneer used looks good, but chips very easily at the corners (be careful when handling). I used a sharpie marker to touch up a few spots that got dinged while moving them around. The fasteners used to secure the pieces together are above average quality and make the unit feel very strong and sturdy, I would have no problem trusting the strength of this unit to holding any size TV (although I am only using it to hold my components). Features/Capacity: As mentioned in other reviews, the unit is deceivingly shallow. Any components larger than a cable box or gaming system will have trouble fitting without modification to the backing. Pay special attention to the dimensions before ordering and make sure to include the extended length of cable ends when measuring your components (RCA and HDMI ends add a good 3in to the back of most devices, 90ยฐ adapters/port savers may be a good option if you need some extra space). There are also no pathways for cabling unless you want them all to go up through the top opening. Being OCD, I cut a hole behind my receiver to run cables through for a cleaner install.

Great looking piece, I'll probably buy another!!
This entertainment center is easy to put together, as far as these go. I've had plenty of experience putting these types of products together over the years, as well as ikea furniture. It took about an hour. I used a power drill on a low setting so I didn't strip holes. It's good and sturdy. The only thing about it, that I wish was a little more functional was the slot on the backside where cords are fed through. It's about 2 and half inches high, but runs the length of the entertainment center. Depending on your situation this may prove to be difficult. There is plenty of room for all the cords to be hooked up, and all "boxes" stay in it cube. I have a Sony surround sound, it looks like a PS3, a dish network box and an Xbox one. 3 cubes are still open at the moment. All boxes have room to sit in each cube so they still get air flow. I only put 1 door on so they didn't have a chance to overheat. All in all I like this EC. It's lower then what I had, wider then what I had, not to mention a better looking piece of furniture. I'd recommend it to anyone. The shelves are adjustable, 3 slots to move them up and down, the center cubes are wider then the ends, the feet make it easier to move across carpet, although mine was empty when I moved it across the room. Great product, I may buy another for the kids room play room. I've been eyeing this particular piece for 4 months and I feel like I made the right decision. Hope this info helps everyone. If you have questions about it I'd be happy to answer anything I can.

Great product but be prepared for a difficult part replacement process!
I am more than satisfied with the look, build quality, and ease of assembly that this Sonax FB-2600 offered but unfortunately one of the main pieces arrived damaged (cracked). I've put together my fair share of pressboard furniture over the years and I've always received replacements parts in a quick and painless fashion. That is NOT the case with Sonax at all as I was initially sent to their website for replacement parts. I filled out their rather lengthy parts request form and even had to go as far to provide a screenshot of my Amazon invoice. The following morning I received this reply from Sonax. --Hi Tommy, thank you for submitting your parts request with us. Anytime you receive a damaged part you need to contact where it was purchased from as we charge to send out replacement parts that arrive damaged. The reason we ask you to contact where you purchased it is that it had to have been damaged in shipping as we would never pre package an item that had dents, chips or cracks in it. Once you contact Amazon they will be able to further assist you. Thank you, Brigette Luca-- I don't know about you guys but I had a living room full of various wood panels and associated hardware the last thing I want to do was to try and figure out how all the intricate (and heavy) pieces fit back in the original box so that I could then have it shipped back to Amazon for RMA. That just seems ridiculous, as does the notion that the ONLY way a damaged part could arrive is by transit from Amazon to me. This just sounds like a horrible way of doing business but I was not getting off the phone until I got a free replacement part. My advice is to stick to your guns and put the proof of burden back on them. As always Amazon provided me with a great product, competitive price, and fast shipping.

Sonax Fiji 60-Inch TV Component Bench
I was a bit skeptical about ordering this item as there were some negative comments made by some of the reviewers. After receiving this item and assembling it, I am glad that I disregarded the negative comments. To begin with, this stand was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. Not one scratch, chip or dent. The assembly instructions are VERY clear. Although there are no worded instructions, the illustrations are more than enough to assemble this item. If you can understand a paint by numbers coloring book, you can understand the illustrated assembly instructions. It is also essential to thoroughly examine the parts portion that is detailed in the assembly instructions in order to understand which parts/screws go where. As a result of reviewing the instructions carefully and periodically referring to them as I was assembling this stand, not once did I have to undo/redo any of the screws or pieces that I had used and all of the included parts fit as designed and intended. To make this item sturdier I used liquid nails on the parts that join together. With regard to the glass doors, I was extra cautious in putting them on the stand. Putting the glass doors on was challenging but doable. The back part of this stand has 6 holes in it to place the component power cords, cables, etc. It took almost 1-1/2 hours to carefully and thoroughly assemble this stand with a minimal amount of help from my wife, and I had stopped for lunch during assembly. By the way, this stand will be used with a 64โ TV. BOTTOM LINE: This stand Is clean, modern and simple. It looks good and appears to be sturdy, and the purchase price was fair. If you are patient, careful and can understand illustrated assembly instructions, there should be NO problem in putting it together properly. I recommend this stand hands down!

Looks nice, but cheap
Pros: - It looks nice - Seems to leave ample room for cords to go through the back. (However, I'm still waiting for some items to arrive before putting everything in it, so I'll post an update if I encounter any issues with cord management.) UPDATE: No problems with cords, but in an attempt to keep the cord clutter down, many of my cords are too short for me to pull my receiver out and plug in my cords, so I need to reach in from the back and try to connect the cords to the receiver. While I was able to manage, my arms got pretty scraped up trying to fit through the small gap. So, unless you have small hands and narrow arms, I recommend getting cables that are at least long enough to be able to connect them with your receiver pulled out the front a little bit. This is not a complaint about the size of the gap since if it were any wider, it would be noticeable from the front while seated. Cons: - Poor packaging for shipment. Mine was damaged on arrival with a puncture in the box that went through the very thin layer of styrofoam that was meant to protect it. That puncture caused a gouge in the back panel of the unit. - Mostly particle board. The product description is misleading in that it gives a description of MDF (medium density fiberboard) and how it is better than particle board, but most of the pieces were actually particle board. This was very disappointing in that I was expecting something of higher quality. - Cheap hardware. The cams used to fasten the top to the unit were cheap and weak. One actually broke on me while I was attaching it and now I have to try to find a replacement part. UPDATE: Fortunately, I was able to find replacement cams that fit perfectly from the local home improvement store and they were more strongly made. If your cams seem cheap to you, it's worth a few extra bucks to pick up some replacements. Additional improvements: - Instructions could be improved. The instructions only included pictures, without any written instructions. While this wasn't too difficult to follow, it did take longer to decipher than if there were written instructions to go with it. - All of the glass hardware was labeled as a single item. If these had been broken down with their own individual part labels, then it would have been quicker to determine the right part without having to visually match the part to the diagram.

Go the extra mile and secure it - you'll be happy you did.
This TV bench is a great little entertainment center. After it was properly put together (see below) it easily holds my Onkyo receiver, cable box, Xbox One, media center power strip, cable modem, speakers, blank CDs and DVDs and more. It's got excellent room. Now let's talk about assembly. First of all, some background - I've built my own furniture as well as assembled cabinets, shelves and many other pieces. That being said, the instructions are a little lacking. I would strongly recommend reading through them at least two times and mentally assembling the ET center before picking up your first tool. I would also highly recommend some glue on any/all join points. Basically, if you're going to screw it, glue it. Doing so has really made a difference in the stability of the whole unit. I did a dry run and tested the stability. I found that there was a very small amount of play in key areas. Stripping it down and rebuilding it with glue at the major points on this piece have turned it into a solid piece of furniture that even I (At almost 300lbs) have no fear of sitting down on. Not that it's designed to be sat upon, and I doubt you'd want to do it for any length of time, but I wanted to test it and be sure it was sturdy. It is. If my TV wasn't already wall mounted, I would have zero concern with setting it on top of this ET center. The plastic feet that come with it (hard to see in their picture) are low profile and really nice - they make sliding it around on carpet a breeze and with felt pads added to them, I'd have no concern with sliding it across a wood floor either. Overall, it's a good product at a great price. I knocked one star off for the slightly vague directions - one added detail to one picture would have fixed the issue. For those who are curious, it involves the vertical boards - there is a very specific way they need to go together or you won't properly secure the top to them with the cambers. The end pieces and the middle pieces need to be fitted so the camber holes are on the top.

Extremely Satisfied
It's a fairly decent looking stand and pretty sturdy. The assembly was easy and the instructions were clear. Just be gentle with it when putting it together as the wood can be bit unforgiving. I'm extremely satisfied with the product and the price I paid for it.

Makes a great computer desk for an oversized monitor, too!
I actually use this for my computer desk, since I use a 42" TV for my monitor and a Sofa for seating. This has enough spots to store stuff that I can fit my PC, UPS, 7.1 receiver, centre speaker, subwoofer, game pads and it is still less cluttered than my old desk!

Fast delivery looking OK for the price. Takes 20-30 min to assembly together, check dimensions of you AV receiver cabinet it's not to deep. If you have any plugs in behind you have to cut some openings. General cabinet have plenty room for AV equipment and some decorations.

Sturdy construction and simple to assemble
We ordered this console not knowing what to expect when it arrived. Despite its weight and package size it arrived undamaged which speaks to how well it was packaged. Its assembly is much like IKEA furniture with cam lock fasteners. It went together very easily. The final assembly was quite sturdy and square. We were very pleased with the purchase.

Looks and works great
Very pleased with the quality and how easy it was to put together. One of the least painful furniture assemblies ever. Looks like it's worth more than I paid. Great purchase.
