Truly beautiful, unique lamps. Well- made and the slate in the two lamps I received matched perfectly. Definitely high- end, designer style lamps, will keep them forever!

I cannot say enough about this lamp. It is absolutely gorgeous and very well made. It is exactly as advertised and even more beautiful in person. Highly recommend.

Unpacked parts, assembled, put bulb in sock, turned on switch, nothing. Then I checked the plugin and the bulb with another lamp and they both worked. I am handicapped and it is going to be difficult for me to repack and ship this back to the manufacturer. I love the look, it is well made, and the slate makes it fit into my rustic room. But, no light to knit by. Found a phone number to call if problems arose. The resource person was very nice, didn't call me stupid, but told me there would probably be a piece of paper stuffed into the socket. Low and behold there it was, she remained on the line until I removed the paper, put the bulb in plugged it in and it worked perfectly. The packaging was incredible, every part of the lamp was protected. The slate is a lovely soft grey with overtones of rust, which blends perfectly with the copper lamp shade I am using with it.

I bought two of these lamps. They are really lovely, and are very nicely made. Regrettably one of the shades came with some odd blotches that cannot be removed - quality control not quite up there. But overall, I’m pleased.

Franklin products are some of my favorite products. The lamp is as described. Franklin is a little pricey but worth it.

I bought two of these for my living room. I live in the American southwest and they kind of give off that vibe. I like the look in the picture but when I received them I was a little disappointed. The harp in the framing for the shade are made it cheap shiny gold brass. Really detracts from the look of the lamp. There was a little card included that said something about pride in handmade craftsmanship and that they bronze base was supposed to be hammered metal. It wasn't hammered and it was bent I had to straighten it. Also had to straighten the green piece of stone looking material in the middle because it was hung crookedly by this rivets or screws or whatever it is they're using. I think they still look good enough. But for the money I paid for the pair they should have been perfect and they should have been higher quality. Fairly disappointed with this product.

I can't tell you enough how much I love these lamps!!! They are so well made, pretty, stylish and just perfect! This is my first Franklin Ironworks product and I hope to own may more pieces from this manufacturer. I totally love their floor lamp with vines and flowers and hope to one day get it. I'm actually trying to find a place for it in my home! Don't delay for one second, it is better then you see! The pictures do not do it justice. Texture, function and looks...what is better?

The lamps came on time , with no damage. They were easy to assemble and they look great!
