7.4V 2000mAh 8C Rechargeable 2S Lipo Battery for Spektrum dx6e DX6 Transmitter Remote Controller

Worked right out of box for a dx6e. Took the 4cell box out and unplugged it--alsi a foam piece. Fit a little bit tight but plugged red wire on right side as given. Been experimenting and learning on two programming session. Still over 7.6 volts!

This 7.4V LiPo has long lasting voltage, perfect for a Spektrum DX6 or DX6e controller. Fits perfectly in my DX6, and holds a charge for a long time. Much better voltage than alkaline batteries. Shipping was fast (arrived within a week - prior to the estimated date). Spektrum should have sold their controllers with this battery.

The plug for this battery is designed so that it fits in either direction causing reverse polarity which burned out my Dx6 transmitter. Should have bought the Spektrum battery which can only be inserted one way: the correct way.

It can be fit into the DX6 battery box and plug into the transmitter. However, it is a very tight fit with a tiny hard to manipulate connector. You must remove the battery each time you want to charge it unlike he battery that Spektrum sells (Admittedly for much more than this one) does not need to be removed from the transmitter to be recharged. The inconvenience of having to work with the tiny connector buried in the transmitter to remove the battery for recharging is not something I am willing to deal with. I will go back to using Nickle metal hydrides. I have not returned the battery because it appears to be a good battery and I can use it in one of my classic transistor radios.

I used this battery to replace the double a batteries in my spectrum DX6 radio. Length fits tight but fits. Width is good and leaves space for attached charging cables. Thickness allows for leaving the large foam pad in place. Good price, it will save me a lot on double A batteries. It has the correct connector to plug right into the radio.

I bought this so I wouldn't have to keep using regular AA cells in my Spektrum DX6 radio. I should've done this a long time ago. The lipo holds a charge seemingly forever, and since I'm not flying much during the summer, I can go a long time between charges. By the way, this seller's price is far more reasonable than buying the replacement recharable from Horizon/Spektrum ($34.99). So far, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have an older Spektrum DX8 silver transmitter which used a NiMH battery as stock for power. This transmitter also accepts a 2S LiPo battery and this one is a perfect fit and upgrade, has the correct connector that plugs directly into the transmitter, and provides all-day use without worry. I recommend.

Just what I needed

I was using this battery for my Spektrum DX6e. it was great for the first month, however if it goes below 7.6 volts it is prone to have one cell go wildly low causing difficulty to recharge.

Great pack. Fits in a dx5 rugged nice and lasts3-4x longer than a set of aa's. Very happy.

Product was defective with wrong polarity. Make sure you watch your battery when it comes, and check the polarity. Toasted my radio because of this defective battery
