Whisky
Good flavour and value for money when I bought it. The prices have gone up now so I personally wouldn't pay the new price. Wait for the price to go down.

Drinkable, though not special...
Surprised at the 5* status of this whisky.I am partial to an Islay, and always have a couple in the cupboard, and I enjoy both the heavily peated (Ardbeg is my first choice) and the slightly more subtle (Caol Ila is probably my favourite all time if I had to choose). This has the layers of peat and is a little smoky, but I find the drink is a little drying on the palate, and quite woody. It isn't a bad whisky, and on offer I would probably by it if I was budgeting, but if I don't think I'll be easily tempted again, and will stick with an Islay or a Campbeltown if I want something that is heavy on the phenol.

Loved the Bold more than the Brilliance
PJ Bold is easily one of the best whiskies I've tried in that price range. It's got so much going on in every sip. Perfect for neat or on the rocks. I'd highly recommend it.
