I purchased this clock for a relative who is a senior. She has very poor vision and could not see a wall clock across her room. It is very easy to read with large numbers and clear black & white definition of numbers and minute/hour hands. It is much easier to read than a digital clock since even if a person can't see the numbers, she/he will be able to see the hands and know approximately what time it is. Digital numbers can look alike with blurred vision so this is a great alternative. It is basic with set time, set alarm, turn alarm on/off controls on the back. It is silent which is important for anyone who is bothered by a ticking clock. The biggest negative for me is that the labels on the controls are very hard to read and are small. This probably is not a big issue for 95% of users but for someone with poor vision it requires a magnifying glass or for someone else to do it for them. That's why I gave "easy to use" 4 stars instead of 5. It is large so I wouldn't consider this a travel clock. It's lightweight though so I gave it 3 stars for that category. Clock arrived on time and in good packaging too. FYI it needs a AA battery which is not included.

This is bigger than I expected, but that's OK, especially as one selling point is its ease of seeing the display. It is analog (clock face with hands), not digital. Positives: It is silent, as advertised - and for the first few weeks, at least, super-accurate. Easy to see. The top button is easy to hit, either to put a ringing alarm to "sleep" or light the dial (adequate, not super-bright, fine for night-time time check). Negative/not ideal: To completely turn off the alarm (or on) you need to find a small switch on the back and toggle it. Not awful, but not ideal. (My last alarm had an easily-findable on/off switch on the side.) Overall, works well, is well-described, a bit bigger than the old timex alarm clocks, but battery operated and easy to set up and use, as well as being value-priced.

I got this clock for my husband who has trouble seeing our other clock at night. This clock has nice big numbers and is very readable during the day. It comes with a small light that you press a button to come on. Maybe since it is on a battery, it doesn’t stay on or light up very well. My husband uses a flash light to see it at night. He likes that, although I prefer to have a backlight or digital. The weight is ok, but a little heavier would keep it in place better. It does work fine and is silent which is great. It uses one AA battery. Only used for a few weeks. So far, so good. I would buy again for its simplicity and price.

It's a bit larger than I thought it would be, but still fine for a normal-sized nightstand. The alarm is a beep-beep-beep sound that is nice for a gentle awakening. If you need music blasting or a sound as loud as a fire engine to wake you, this clock isn't for you. I'm retired, and a quieter sound is just fine! It's very easy to read from across a room with its large face, and the light only comes on when the top bar is pushed - so there's no annoying light to keep you awake at night. I like this clock and am glad I bought it. It arrived quickly and very well packaged.

Today, the clock stopped five times in the space of 15 hours. I have to keep updating it. I updated it and shortly after, it would stop. How can this company sell these things?

It's OK. Large easy to read. But today- I throw it out. It stopped working. 5 years. I guess I'm old fashioned. I still have a similar Timex clock going strong at 35+ years. so if you need a cheap clock, and you don't mind adding to the landfill, then this might be your clock. btw-- boo hoo hoo that companies like original timex- are but a memory...AND -oh yea, I'd bought a second one of these for my nearly blind Mom. That one only lasted 2 yrs.

I was looking for a retro-style alarm clock for my nightstand as I try to move away from relying on my phone to wake up — and this one fits the bill perfectly. I really like the classic look, and it has just the right features without unnecessary extras. One small but thoughtful touch: tapping the snooze button lights up the clock face, which is great for checking the time at night without being too bright. I also appreciate that the alarm starts off gently and gradually increases in volume, so it’s not an abrupt jolt awake. It’s exactly what I expected — no frills, no surprises, and that’s what I wanted. Solid little clock.

It wouldn't even wake a mouse if it was sellotaped to its face. Just don't bother.
