Great quality foe a base table. Took 3 hours to put together as it is well constructed. Very heavy table so you will need 2-4 people to flip it over after being build. The felt is ok as its a little slow but overall I would highly recommend. The pool cues are light and as others have suggested, buy some others. The pockets are pretty cheap as well but work.

It took several hours to put together but it was not hard. The directions are spot on and the parts line up. I would recommend not putting the legs on until you have the sides lines up with the legs perfectly or you may be undoing some parts to line them up correctly. Other than that, it was easy to put together, just time consuming. Looks very nice. Not quite regulation size and the sticks and balls that come with it are a little smaller than regulation.; however, it is the perfect size for my family. Looks nice. Happy family here that uses the table A LOT!

The pool cues are trash but to be expected when it comes with these. The table can't be leveled because the top itself isn't flat on the edges (right,left). It's level in the middle but as you move the level over it gets off in the last 2 or 3 inches so the balls want to roll to the edge. It's not off much but it's off so a slow hit down the side will result in the balls rolling to edge as they stop. I'd return it but its very heavy and it would be a pain in the a$$.

Well, the felt is too thick, the balls don't travel well on it. The balls are cheap they are already chipping. The pockets have a drop off on them making the table not true... and yes it's level, the drop off is on both sides.

I ADDED A FEW SCREWS TO EACH LEG TO SHORE IT UP. I THINK THE MANUFACTURER WOULD DO WELL IF THEY APPLIED A BETTER SYSTEM TO ATTACH THE LEGS. OVERALL I REALLY LIKE THE LOOKS AND STABILLITY OF THE TABLE.

Did take my time to put legs together and on but not difficult despite poor instructions. No cracks, dents, or chips. The silver sides are glued paper not painted. The felt is OK but won't last and had a very very small black stain and no markings for breaks but balls rolled well enough for casual play. Pool sticks too light and hollow; balls descent. The family really likes it!!!!

Be sure to indicate "2-people needed for shipping". There was only 1 man in the delivery truck to handle this 200+ lb. 8x6 ft box. Without the extra hand, I saw the table dropped a few ft. off the truck right before they rang my bell. I cringed, but hoped the packing protected it. When I finally cut thru the Styrofoam, the short side bottom particle board was smashed clear off. Worst of all, the red felt was ripped above the damaged side (rendering the table unplayable. Felt is a very expensive repair). Amazon was very good refunding my $$$ but they could not replace the item. Damage aside, table looks beautiful (= why I give it 2 stars), but it was never meant to be.

I was surprised how sturdy it is and that explains why the packaged weight of 254 lbs. Leveled easily and the balls roll really good. It's not slate, but a good table for a fraction of the price. One Cue was a bent and Hathaway is sending me a replacement. Only sent 1 delivery guy, table on a skid so my husband helped him. Played many games and love it!

Moving, assembling and standing on its feet can be done by two men without resorting to external company. It came complete with all part well packed and protected. Assembling the legs is simple, all parts fit perfect but attaching them to the top is a bit awkward and you must use your imagination rather than instruction to finish the job. Make sure all parts fit properly before tightening the bolts and screwing in the side boards. Once on its feet it feels solid and can also be used for the base of the ping pong table. Overall I am quite satisfied with this purchase and recommend it to anybody who wants to have some fun with the friends and family.

This pool table is actually not bad at all for the price. Cons would be the tight areas to screw in little screws in tight places and instructions that do not flow properly such as the second last instruction of screwing in the ends and side boards before placing the legs and bolting in the legs which if you followed the instructions you would be in trouble and would affect the overall assembly. Note the felt for this table is very, very thin and you should not attempt jump shots or you risk tearing into the felt! Also if too many balls go into one pocket then they tend to fall out from the basket. Pros would be Prime delivery with no delivery charge as other retailers may charge between $150 to $250 for delivery, very durable product with a one piece table top versus other non-slate pool tables being two piece table top and this one has good supports underneath. All-in-all we are very happy with this product and definitely will lead us to purchasing a true slate pool table product based on all the fun we are having with this product.

In december I ordered two tables, the corner of on of the table was cracked. The quality of this table was poor quality so I decided to return both tables. One box was opened and the second we did not even touch. Amazon could not find the specific carrier to pickup this items and they says it is my fault
