Good buy, great shave!
I've been trying all of the different razors for men and women. (I'm a female) I've tried dollar shave, flamingo, Athena, the disposable Venus, skintimate, bic, Venus pubic razors and the Amazon basic female razors. Honestly these Amazon basic men's razors are at the top of my list. It's a well rounded razor. I used this and cheap dollar tree shave lotion. It did amazing. No razor burn, no bumps. I used it on my legs arms underarms face and pubic area. It didn't disappoint. Close shave, no Knicks, no irritation. I will definitely be purchasing these again. I like these better than the Amazon women's razor. Try them!

Great value proposition.
I shave my head and face 3 x per week. I typically use Gilette blades and get around 6 weeks out of a blade before it starts to 'drag' across my scalp. The first few weeks the shave is almost frictionless, very smooth and comfortable. But the price for refill blades 'feels' high. Honestly for the amount of usage I get per blade, it's not- but I was still interested in alternatives. I tried buying some blades from a subscription service a while back. Those blades could have been in a Stephen King novel- they had a taste for human flesh... After being scared back to name brand blades for a few years, I recently picked up some off brand look-alike replacement blades that were being sold on Amazon. Came in packaging that looked very similar to the real deal, had a very similar look but were obviously made over seas and packaged to be direct replacements for half the price. Those blades dragged across my scalp like I was trying to shave with a pine cone. The blades were not jagged, they were just DULL. Apparently they were so bad that by the time I tried to review them, they no longer existed as something that could be reviewed. *They are still being sold, just not the specific set that I purchased. Be aware. I decided to just bite the bullet and purchase the ones I felt were overpriced but perform very well. Saw that Amazon has their own brand. I've purchased a lot of Amazon Basic items over the years, and figured I'd give them a shot. They actually solve a problem I didn't really have. They cost about half price from the name brand, and they shave really well. They are not as sharp and smooth as the name brand razors, I don't want to sell them as that- but they feel good, and have minimal skin drag. I do not think I'll get 6 weeks out of each blade, but I'm confident that I can get at least a month. For comfort I rate them a 4, but I'm adding a star for the value proposition. Cheaper and almost as good as the big boys. I'm good with that, and will repurchase in the future.

After 46 years of shaving, I finally found as close to perfect as possible
I am turning 59 next month and I started shaving when I was 13. The men in my family have tough and fast-growing beards. Shaving has always been a crappy job with crappy results... until I found Amazon Basics 5-Blade MotionSphere Razor in combination with Cremo Barber Grade Original Shave Cream. Stop spending a fortune on the name brand razors. These razors are superior in quality and shave and dramatically less expensive. I've been using them for a few years how and could not be happier with the closeness of the shave, how long they last, and the amazing price point compared to the rip-off that the major shaving brands are. After shaving, my face is smooth and clean, and my wife loves the results. Yours will too. I highly recommend using these with the Cremo Barber Grade Original Shave Cream. The combination of these two products has made for the best shaves I've had in 4 decades of shaving. Trust me, you will love this razor and you will love the money you still have in your pocket. It works flawlessly, lasts a long time, and is much cheaper than the name brands and works better than any of them. Pro shaving tips from 4 decades of shaving: Never shave upwards. When you do, you are pulling the hairs up and back and that causes them to invert and causes bumps. It may seem like you are getting a closer shave, but you are actually causing issues you have to deal with longer term. Just keep shaving on a downward stroke only. After you lather your face up, let it sit. The longer it is on, the more pliable/softer your beard hairs will be and will make shaving much easier and closer. Rinse your blade constantly. Every time you stroke the blade on your face, rinse the blade. Haris are stuck between the blades and they prevent you from getting a close shave. When rinsing your blade, place the blade at the bottom of the falling water. Gravity and propulsion gives it more force to remove the hairs stuck between the blades. Rinse both sides of the blade, not just one side, so you make sure to get the hairs out from in-between. After shaving, dry the blades on your towel. Your blades will last much longer. Don't put the blades in a box or bag. Just leave it out to dry faster. Hope this helps. Happy shaving! Love, Brad

These are the best for many reasons
I have tried many shaving blades and I can honestly say this one is the best quality for a decent price. I been using these blades for over two years and the quality didn't change (excellent shaving) I just wish I can buy just the handle, they look bad after a while because they last so long. Go ahead and buy these with confidence, I garanty you'll like this product

Just ok...
I'm a Schick Hydro user and the blades are insanely priced. I saw all the great reviews on this set from Amazon Basics and decided to give it a shot. Honestly, it's not great. Brand new out of the box, it pulls like crazy on my stubble, so much so that it's kind of painful. I think the blades just aren't that really sharp. I was having to shave twice as long to get an acceptable shave. Even at that, I could still feel stubble after going over a spot 4+ times. I took out my old Schick to go over one of these troublesome spots and it was smooth within one swipe. Long story short, if you're looking for a good razor, look elsewhere.

Work well, and much less expensive then brand name razors
I like 5-blade razors, but not the price. There's a reason they are always behind locked glass at the stores. I tried these and I'm pleased. They have as good a shave as the brand name razors I have bought in the past, and they are much less expensive. They don't seem to last quite as long as the brand name, but that may be my imagination, and if it's true they are still much less expensive than the others. The handle is a little tricky to get connected to a new blade, but just press on the release button, push it on the new blade, and release the button.

Money well spent
Smooth shave, and it had a cool straight blade for side burns and mustache.
