Kanji Look and Learn

Very useful in learning difficult Kanji characters in a creative way definitely suggested for people who are at beginner level

I have come cross many kanji book but I feel this one is the best kanji book in market Love the way the story behind each drawing is explained . It’s interesting , fun and easy to learn and remember I wish the author also release a similar kanji book for above 500 kanji’s as we want to learn at least 2500 kanji to reach JLPT level 1

Moja ulubiona książka do nauki kanji. Przyszła bardzo szybko w 2 dni. Szkoda bardzo szkoda że ćwiczenia są do kupienia jako osobna książka.

初級を終えて次に何を使うか迷っていましたが、この本を選んで正解でした。文法や語彙が体系的にまとめられていて、無理なく中級レベルに進むことができます。解説も分かりやすく、独学でも使いやすい一冊だと思います。5つ星です。

I find the book to be very helpful, it provides explanations on different pronunciation of the kanji and example vocab, which is the main reason why I got the book. I’m using it mainly as a dictionary of kanji, and break down of stroke orders and strokes parts are invaluable in remembering how to write them. The index in the book is also excellent, with multiple ways of indexing to help you find the kanji you’re looking for (e.g. by stroke count, stroke parts, pronunciation). This book is marketed for non-Chinese native users, but as a chinese speaking native, I find the book to be equally helpful (though admittedly not the mnemonic part). I do find the binding of the book to be very odd though. It’s a soft cover book and the endpapers are partially glued to the covers, so when you open the book it makes the covers puff up. I snipped the papers to get rid of that since it was bothering me.

Me gustó todo de este libro. Se incluye las diferentes lecturas, los ejemplos de uso, la secuencia de la escritura de cada kanji y la ayuda mnemónica es muy buena. No tengo ninguna pega para este excelente libro.

It's a great book, not ideal for beginners that are taking up Japanese, but perfect for those that took at least two courses of it because you can refer back to this as a dictionary as well and the cute little drawings do make things easier to remember stroke order and meaning to the kana itself. I love it! Plan to using it and improve my Japanese.
