Delicious!!
These are fantastic, just as expected! I bought a different brand as well, for a taste test. These are the clear winner. Both arrived in great shape, no crushed cookies or anything, both have the glaze, no powdered sugar. But these ones are superior because they have a richer flavor. Both feel the same as far as a slight crunch exterior, but soft cookie center. These don't disappoint!

Please don’t waste your money if looking for authentic
These were not enjoyable at all. The cookies tasted stale and dry, the glaze was rock hard, and there was an odd chemical taste that overpowered everything else. They didn’t resemble traditional Pfeffernüsse in flavor, texture, or freshness. I would not repurchase.

Best I could find
Once Stella Doro made pfefferneuse but apparently no longer. This has a fine taste and it is not too hard in texture as some others are. Will reorder in December.

Not as anticipated. Too sweet.
I bought because I presumed they were a post-holiday clearance. Way too sweet, which I had feared from the used of frosting, not rolled in confectioner's sugar. I made Pfeffernusse as a teen, and while I cannot imagine the precise taste from about 40 years ago, but this is not it. No bite. Ginger flavor on target. Much preferred Wissella Gingerbread cookies over these. Arrived intact with a good date.
