Oxford - Heaterz Premium Adventure (Temperature controlled Motorcycle Grips)

Would easily buy again!! Without the heat these are nice motorcycle handgrips. They are wider than the last two pairs of non heated grips that I had. I had to shift the mirrors over a half inch or so to install. Lots of room for my big hands with gloves. The rubber is firm for a good controllable grip but not uncomfortable. The texture is present but not unpleasant to bare hands. The outer ends are open so I was able to reinstall my bark busters without any mods. The installation was easy but did take an hour or so. Good instructions, all parts included. The bolts were the wrong size for my dual sport but I just reused the ones on my bike for mounting the controller. I used more zip ties than they supplied to make sure the wiring stayed neat at all points. I did have to sand down the ridges on the plastic sleeve of my throttle like the instructions say to do. The super glue is runny but sets up pretty quickly. Make sure you have the position all planned because you won’t have much time to make any adjustments. During my 20 mile test ride I rode with lightweight gloves and the setting on 1 (which was plenty) and 2 (which wasn’t too much). The heat starts very quickly. The control buttons are easy to operate with one gloved hand while riding.

Installed the Oxford Heaterz Premium Sports grips on my Kawasaki ZX-14R for a road trip from Lakeland, FL up to the Tail of the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway for those chilly mornings. Installation was straightforward, and the heat output is excellent—warm up quickly and the temperature control works great for changing conditions. Even on cooler mountain mornings, they made a big difference in comfort. Grip feel is solid and not overly bulky. Highly recommend for anyone planning longer rides or dealing with colder weather.

Mounted these on my 99 GL1500 SE. (Goldwing) These work well. have a slightly larger diameter than stock which is nice. I no longer get a numb feeling in my hands after 1/2 hour. They heat well, don't appear to drain battery at all. Only problem is the glue they include is garbage. Used gorilla glue after grip glue failed. its perfect. I don't like the positioning of the connectors. They reach just to the top of the triple tree where there's greater chance of wear damage. Hasn't been a problem so far but every add-on the runs a cable across the top makes it a little less responsive and harder to turn. I mounted my controller on the dash so I had to make an extension cable.

The throttle side grip was very difficult to fit on my 2019 rebel 500 because the provided "honda adapter tube" did not work as intended. When fitted correctly, the grip would just slide around on the throttle tube not tight enough to actually grip it. To get it to work I wrapped it tighter at the base and forced the right side heated grip over it with a rubber mallet to get it on. Excess plastic from the adapter tube made the throttle stick so I cut it off with an exacto knife. Aside from that my only other gripe is that because of its 1'' handlebars, the only option available for the rebel is cruiser grips with “the super cool guy chrome and flames" as someone else had said which I can't say I'm a fan of either. Otherwise these grips are perfect and are seriously a good deal. They both heat equally and definitely get hot! The controller mounted perfectly to the bike and besides the throttle side, the rest of the install was pretty straightforward plugging the grips into the controller which I powered straight from the battery. The buttons on the controller are easy to press and the battery saver mode works well too in case you forget to turn them off. I originally was going to get heated gloves but am glad I tried these first because they've worked great in 30 degree weather and are a third of the price! Also, I tried plastidipping the end caps which has already started to peel but originally there's 2 sets which are both chrome with one being "dark chrome".

These were so good, I bought a second set for my other bike. They are a comfortable grip, with great warming ability. I never need the highest setting because they get very warm! On one bike, I've put nearly 10 thousand miles and they still look great, not warn out. I especially like that they have the ability to turn themselves off, because it's easy to forget. These wont kill your battery and will keep you toasty and expand your riding season.

Very easy to install...took about an hour including taking off original hand grips..they be nice and toasty on cold days....2 thumbs up.

These worked amazingly well! Been using them for a couple of months now and they heat up very nicely keeping the palms of my hands warm. Definitely need a pair of heated winter gloves however for the back of your hand. Would buy this again for every motorcycle I get in the future. It was extremely easy to install as I had no modifications needed.

Right off the bat, I think it is a good system when it works, but as of right now, it seems that the system is not worth the money or time and frustration; especially if the components aren't going to last a full year with only part-time use. I have had multiple issues with this system so far. I originally purchased these grips Dec 1, 2020 and installed them Dec 11, 2020. On the first use, the right side grip temperature was high enough to give me first-degree burns through my glove with the temperature set to the lowest setting. I contacted the distributor to let them know what happened and they were very helpful and responsive in getting a replacement grip to me. The new grip functioned better, but the temperature still wasn't controlled well; I figured it was probably the controller at this point, but didn't pursue replacing the controller unit since I could just turn the controller off when the heat was getting too high. Fast forward to October 4, 2021, my motorcycle had been in unplanned storage for about 6-7 weeks (I had to have emergency surgery) and wasn't able to disconnect the battery or set it on a trickle charge. I figured that the battery would be fine and it would start right up especially with the vaunted "intelligent controller" that "...will turn off if the voltage drops below 13.5V to ensure that the battery is not flattened or damaged", but nope battery was dead. I couldn't bring the battery back to life since the charge ran down to 1.4 VDC (I tried), so I replaced the battery October 7, 2021 in the evening; voltage at install was 12.7 VDC. The next morning, as I was putting the seat back on and cleaning my motorcycle, I felt heat from the controller as I went over it with a dry rag to knock the dust off. I checked the battery voltage again just to see if it had dropped and sure enough, it was at about 11.3 VDC. I disconnected everything, again, and charged the battery. Curious as to whether the battery was being drained by the heated grip controller, I checked the temperature of the controller prior to connecting the battery and and the heated grip system; 65.3°F. I connected the battery and heated grip system and checked the temperature of the controller after 5 and 10 minutes; 72.6°F and 81.2°F, respectively. I tried the buttons on the controller, no response and no LEDs. Its safe to assume the controller is dead and is just a battery draining resistor at this point, so I removed the in-line fuse. I reached out to the USA distributor via their "contact us" page; no response. I called their listed phone number; disconnected. I ended up contacting the UK manufacturer/distributor via their "contact us" page and received a response to contact their USA distributor for resolution with a direct email address listed. I would like to replace the controller, but it doesn't seem available anywhere in the USA. Again, I think it is a good system when it works, but as of right now, it seems that the system is not worth the money or time and frustration; especially if the components aren't going to last a full year with only part-time use.

Calidad estupenda, ayer llovió bastante y soporta bien el agua. Calienta bastante es cierto que aún no estamos en invierno pero bastante bien para 16€ que me han costado. Y encima de reconocida marca.. el único pero es que trae muchísimo cable.. la instalación muy fácil, ya que trae portafusibles y fusible en el mismo positivo... Conectas a algún cable de luces y así se apagará cuando apagues la moto. Volvería a comprar lo. Ahora hay que ver qué dura

Installed them on my 2022 Royal Enfieid Interceptor. Pretty straightforward installation, look good and feel warm.

Great product , easy to install. I cant thank 4th gear enough for the outstanding customer service I got. I had a small problem with my product and the seller went over and above to resolve it. I will definately search them out when I need more parts for my ATV. Well done and Thankyou.

Sold my last bike with the Oxfords on it. New bike won’t be ridden until the Oxfords are installed. Easy to install and in my opinion the gold standard of heated grips. Excellent heat production and the auto shut off is a huge bonus. I’d recommend these to anyone.
