I needed a slide advancer for class that would work with Google Slides, as that is where I build all of my classroom presentation slideshows (for convenience). I saw this slide advancer while searching through some far more expensive styles. I love that it can't go onto my finger until I've removed the computer plug in, and that when I've removed it from my finger, I am highly likely to remember the computer plug in because of the gap in the ring. (So far, I have not left the room without my slide advancer or the computer plug in for it. That's a huge difference from the other three I owned before that all were lost to classrooms when I left them behind and someone else picked them up and took them. :/) The battery charges quickly and stays charged for a while. I only teach two classes in person, but the advancer has stayed charged for several weeks at a time with regular use. (I am good about turning it off when not using it, which makes a big difference. But I think it's much better batter than I had anticipated.) It has great range for the classrooms I teach in, which aren't huge. The laser pointer works well, and I can point and advance slides from anywhere in the classrooms I'm in.

Works GREAT in my classroom, and you NEVER have to buy batteries!

So this is going to sound bad but it ends really well. After only using it for a couple of months it is no longer working effectively. The laser point now only appears as a smudge from a short distance of 2 feet. When pointed at a screen or monitor (which is what I normally use it for as an educator) it can barely be seen, if at all. When it was working, it was FANTASTIC because in the past, I had a tendency to misplace laser pointers or forget that I had them in my pocket, but with this hooked on my finger it handled beautifully. I am disheartened by the short life of this product because the sole purpose of the this purchase was to use it as a comfortable laser pointer. UPDATE: Dino reached out to me and recognized my predicament. They sent a replacement to which once again, works exactly how I came to enjoy it. I ordered this for my husband for his upcoming office presentation and he was so happy with it. It easily connects with the laptop and has a lazor light to highlight the pointers while you speak. It has 2 separate buttons to go to next and previous slide which works perfect. It’s light weight and fits in the finger very comfortably. Person of any shape and size can easily use this device. The only thing I wish it had was audio control as well for controlling video volume during presentation.

I use this as a vocalist with iPad charts to turn pages, without having to constantly touch the screen onstage. I turn it around with the buttons in my palm, so I can unobtrusively use it. I wish it was still smaller with no laser pointer. The battery life is really long: I'd personally rather it lasted only 8 hrs, and was smaller. But I'm not using it the way it was intended.

I loved this product when I first got it. But just by the second week it stopped working. I have connected customer service and have not heard back yet. If they provide me with a replacement and I have better success with it, I will update my review. I emailed customer service. They sent me a new one. So far (a week), it has been working great! I hope this one is long lasting because it is definitely great when it does work. I’ll update in a few months (unless it does stop working, then I’ll update earlier). I changed this to a 3 star. If this one continues to work, in a few months I will change it to 5 stars.

So much better than a handheld remote! I use my remote every day in my classroom and if I drop this one, it doesn’t break. I went through way too many broken-because-I-dropped-it remotes before I found this one. Life saver!
