Good quality bench knife, nice to be able to feel the wood handle. I do treat mine with oil to keep that feel and keep the wood from drying out. The gauge of the knife is a good balance between being sturdy and light, scrapes fairly even across the whole length.

Very nice. Glad I ignored the critics in this case. Very smooth, and this fulfills my wanting to have wood rather than plastic in my daily handling.

I really like this tool. The only minor nit is the slightly unfinished feel of the wood handle, which I assume will improve after a few dozen loaves. I may lightly sand it and apply some cutting board oil. The steel blade is solid, and the handle is thick with a comfortable, secure grip—great for scraping dough or cutting a batch into halves or quarters. Plenty of uses beyond bread as well.

Beautiful design and well-weighted. More expensive than most bench scrapers on here but absolutely worth every penny. Easy to use, clean, and comfortable to hold. I use mine to cut dough regularly and it cuts very well. The handle fits my hand perfects. 10/10 would buy again…but I see this lasting a very, very long time.
