Derwent Precision Mechanical Pencil 0.5 mm With HB Leads and Erasers Grey

Premium quality, nice metal, right weight and grip. Me and my son (8+ years) both liked it much. The one we used to buy earlier was costing slightly higher but nowhere near to this quality. Must buy.

I am fairly satified with the quality of this product, but I must mention that I am not using it for drawing, but for taking down notes during meetings. This pencil is a bit heavy, but I am used to writing with metal bodied pens and so the weight of this pencil is acceptable to me. Another drawback is that the lead is brittle and tends to break quite often. The package contains not just a box of spare leads, but also spare erasers, which no other brand provides. The price seem reasonable compared to other branded mechanical pencils, especially since one gets spare leads and erasers too.

Grips very nicely and the leads write very well. The pencil also comes with 2 extra erasers for the back. Worth the price you pay. Feels durable and comfortable. I highly recommend it.

The holding and grip is good. The security to nib is also amazing as you can push the nib inside when not in use. The lead is not so dark and it breaks when you apply a bit of pressure. Overall the product is good for beginners.

The leads provided are really fragile and keeps on breaking

A nice mechanical pencil so far. It is a very good choice for detailing and outlining of sketch. It is quite affordable. It feels heavy but later on you will get a habit of this. Very good choice for beginners and professionals. And also it is affordable too.

This is a worthless product for anyone (artist or simple writing). Here is why: - It's Heavy, not well weight balanced - Too long in length - The retractable point is too wobbly, feels cheap - Lead breaks often while using (even HB lead). That's a deal-breaker, as it increases lead wastage. - There is much much better product at less price (go for sakura) - Lead wastage is high. The minimum length to use a lead properly is much more than other mechanical pencils like pentel, sakura - Click mechanism is too hard to press and feels cheap. It's not even consistent.

I liked the metallic feel of the pencil and it's heaviness. The pencil developed a slight play within a few months. The plastic part that connects the front cone and the body broke today after a fall. Two more weeks and it would have completed a year. I used it basically for taking notes in my diary. It allowed decent grip and control to write in really small handwriting.

No hay mucho que decir sobre este producto, es un portaminas sencillo pero que cumple con su propósito perfectamente. El peso es perfecto, no pesa muy poco pero tampoco pesa mucho, considero que tiene un peso ideal y es muy cómodo. En cuanto a su diseño es muy bonito, el tacto es genial y un portaminas muy elegante. Lo necesitaba porque estoy aprendiendo a dibujar y cumple de sobra mis necesidades. Encuentro muy buena relación calidad precio. Cabe añadir que también viene un tubo de minas 0.5 mm HB. Excellent mechanical pencil. Full metal assembly giving it a nice weight, and a faceted barrel makes it comfortable and easy to grip. The nib can be fully retracted to prevent damage to the pencil (or your pocket.) The Derwent leads are incredibly smooth - not at all scratchy. I'm currently using it as a sketching pencil, replacing the HB in a Derwent Graphic set.

Sin lugar a dudas uno de los mejores lápices mecánicos que he comprado, de muy buen material y acabados. Lo he usado para dibujo de conceptos y diseños y ha funcionado muy bien.

The best mechanical pencils I have found. I reall was looking for an all metal pencil. Many mechanical pencils have a grate metal tip, but cheap plastic bodies. The Derwent precision is by far a great mechanical pencil. The price point is very nice. Hard to beat it for what you get. Very well done Derwent.
