For anyone wanting to have the message repeat without button pressing, you can fit a 0ohm resistor (or not so fancy solder blob like me) onto the pads marked "0R" in the middle of the PCB. Now once the button from the black leads is pressed the recording will infinite loop! ;) Bonus - if you do above mod and link the two black wires (or pads for the black wires) the moment you pull the battery tab the message will instantly play and loop without any button presses. (ps the board delivered to me is V1.6 not sure if its the same board every time when purchasing yet!) Actual review: Pros: - Worked straight away without any soldering - Recording is decent but cheap and cheerful - No idea about battery life yet but probably decent as there is 3x LR44s on board - Batteries are replaceable Opposite of pros: - Output is pretty quiet but defo audible, shove your face up to the mic for more volume! ... ish - Only just arrived today so not sure how reliable it is!

Great item for special gift experiences as you can record upto 4mins so ideal for lengthy recordings. Only let down is that you can’t seem to permanently record without the potentially recording over again as there’s no way to cut off the record button so if it’s pressed it automatically deletes the previous recording

This item was used for a model diorama. As with other purchasers, I was disappointed with the lack of instructions (the thumbnail picture on the product listing didn't really help) but found a simple tutorial on YouTube. Recording and playback thereafter were simple - much easier than the units with only a single button. The sound - as with all these I suspect - is tinny but quite loud. I've not tested out the full 4 minutes of record time but my 1m 30s clip works fine. The only minor gripe is that, unlike other units purchased, there is no adhesive tape around the speaker. However, nothing a couple of straps of gaffer like tape couldn't sort (I affixed the PCB board with self adhesive velcro tape). I would definitely buy again - just a shame that similar units with less recording time are not proportionally cheaper!

Can’t really review this item as there’s no instructions so not been able to use it yet! Did message the company who sent acknowledgment of the problem but not given the instructions!

Worked perfectly to record sounds for a school project.

It's okay but it is very quiet despite recording on full volume. No instructions and quite frankly, almost impossible to ignore how to fit it without something touching the reset button! It's not what I was really looking for in it's functionality and it certainly isn't value for money when you consider it is practically useless.

it has recording beep, but just white noises coming out of speaker during playback. Not working at all. waste of money. requesting a refund definitely.

War anfangs etwas skeptisch ob das mit dem aufnehmen so hinhauen wird, aber wie es mit dem aufnehemn geht ist in der Beachreibung gut erklärt, die Tonqualität ist wie von einer tonkarte zi erwarten und mit bisschen Bastelarbeit auch gut in eine selbstgemachte Karte zu bringen

Perfecto para un regalo original, lo usé en una cajita y le grabé una canción que tenía mucho significado. Echo en falta un par de instrucciones de qué botón hace qué.

Es un poco más grande de lo esperado. Hay que tener cuidado de que no se vuelve a pulsar el botón de grabar, ya que se borra lo que habías grabado

Funktioniert ganz gut. Man muss ziemlich dicht ans Mikrofon herangehen aber ansonsten kann ich diese Teil empfehlen

Das Produkt hält, was es verspricht. Die Tonqualität ist für diesen Preis wirklich gut. Die Lautstärke variiert und entspricht der des aufgenommen Sounds. Diesbezüglich bietet es sich an, entweder laut zu sprechen oder eben die aufzunehmende Audiodatei laut abzuspielen. Ich habe den Chip in ein Kuscheltier eingenäht und auch hier ist die Aufnahme gut hörbar. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv: Der rote Knopf starten beim ersten Drücken die Aufnahme und beendet sie mit dem zweiten Drücken. Der schwarze Knopf spielt die Aufnahme ab und beendet das Abspielen beim erneuten Drücken. Die Batterien sind bereits enthalten. Die Lieferung ging verhältnismäßig schnell (am 09.12. bestellt, am 21.12. erhalten).
