After the effort of installation, it worked for a little while. After a few rounds of testing the full range of the pot, to verify my firmware code, the darn thing got really scratchy and stopped working. I opened the enclosure to find that the back of one of them had unsnapped from the body. I could snap it back on, but it would just unsnap again and the thing wouldn't work. Before trashing the pot, I took it apart, and observed junk construction.
